My dearest friend Ron,
I haven't seen you in forever. I do hope you are well. I have great news, and some bad news.
The good news is that I'm going to Hogwarts!! Awesome right, the bad news is that I have no more family with me that you have to meet. I know how much you loved my sister and twin cousin, but they have fallen victim to He-Who-shall-Not-Be-Named. I had no where else to go until I got the letter.
I am very excited, because I remember you nearly killing me with a hug when you got your letter barely a year ago. Unfortunately, I don't know how this magic school thing works. So you'll have to show me the ropes.
I also hope you forgive me for what I did. I understand if you still hate me for it but I truly am sorry. Either way I'll see you sometime soon my dear friend and I hope you will find a way to forgive me by then.
