The Blind Side screened on the fifty-five inch mounted up on the wall while I laid in a mini cami dress. The shower was on in the bathroom and the phone beside me vibrated nonstop with numerous texts. It was Hassan's cell phone. An iPhone Pro with several messages covering the lock screen photo of he, Arya, and me. My eyeballs leaped from the television to the phone to the bath door. I wanted to listen to what Joie told me. But it was happening too often and the old me yearned to come out.

Fuck it.

The old me bounced out, lifting upright, and my hand wrapped around his iPhone Pro. I tried to type in the six digit code, but it was incorrect. "Seeee, now this that shit I be.." I paused, eyeballing the bath door instantly after thinking I heard a noise.

The shower was still on, so I attempted other codes. All incorrect.

"Whatchu doin?"

I flinched hard, hiding the cell phone behind my back. I was so deep into seeking out the correct code that I didn't hear the shower turn off. At the bath doorway stood Hassan. The blue towel wrapped around his waist.

"Nothing!" I lied, extremely guilty.

"Hm," he lifted a brow, "What's behind ya back?"

"Nothing." I responded just as quickly as the first time.

"Nothing as in.. my phone?"

Clearly he caught me. I sighed, bringing it from behind my back. "I'm sorry. I just.. It keeps going off and you have been so secretive. The texts. The private calls. You even changed your code. It was the date your mother created Cree On Wheels."

"And now it's Arya's birthday." He told me, walking over and grabbing his phone. He typed in the code and held it back out to me. "You coulda just asked me, baby. Look in it."

Tempting.. very, tempting.

"No, I can't." I declined, easing the phone his way. "I trust you."

"Coo then." He smiled, tossing the phone on the bed before walking to the walk-in closet.

"A.. Don't Answer has been calling you." I hollered for him to hear, awaiting a response. I never get one, so I hop up and walk over to the closet. Hassan's moisturizing his body, his back and buns facing the door. "Did you hear what I said?"
