"Princess!" Mary Stefan called, "Princess Luna!" I came running into the room, my long black dress -with a star in the middle, flapping behind me and my hair flying. "Here I am," I said breathlessly. Mary looked at me unsurely, "you know that you shouldn't run, princess it's-" I finished for her, "improper, I know, but I'm so excited today! I will get to see my first Solar Moon! It'll be so bright and exciting!" Mary smiled, "yes it will be," she said, gazing out the window.
The sound of lightning rang in the air, startling everyone. A gold carriage shining in the sun appeared. "Oh!" someone shouted, pointing out the window, "Princess Stella is here!" Everyone rushed out the door to greet the princess. I gazed out the window as a gorgeous girl with long blond hair, a white dress with a star in the middle climbed out, behind her was a very attractive blonde, blue-eyed boy. His hair was gelled back. He wore a white suit with a star. He didn't look so happy to be there, and then Stella held his hand and said, "This is Chase, my boyfriend," Stella clung to him desperately and I fumed with anger. I was by the door now and heard everything. I knew it was too good to be true, but I had liked that boy ever since I saw him at the winter ball a year ago.
I sighed. I knew that she would never hold a candle to Stella. She was the definition of perfect and fake. Rolling my eyes, I closed the door and held the hem of my dress as I ran upstairs to my bedroom. I grabbed my favorite book- Courageous Carrey, I always liked to imagine myself as Carrey, saving my kingdom and fighting for equality between peasants and royals. But I was a girl, and according to my dad, only boys fought. Mary Stefan busted into her room. Mary was out of breath. "You are requested downstairs." I grumbled and put down my book. I got up and followed Mary downstairs. On the stairway, I could hear Stella's obnoxious voice.
As soon as Stella saw me, she smirked. "Hello, Princess Luna, it's a pleasure to finally meet you again!" Her voice was full of fake happiness. Any sane person should have realized that Stella was evil and faked it. But no one did. "No, the pleasure is all mine," I said coldly. My parents shoot me a look. I looked around knights and maids were scurrying around. Stella was still holding Chase like an expensive bag. Chase smiled and waved at her. I blushed red, and Stella noticed because she grabbed Chase tighter. A pale, handsome, and tall boy (was he a vampire, no one should be this hot!) from behind Chase. He was wearing a black suit with a gold belt and star. He had creamy long dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. Stella looked at him. "This is my brother, Blaze," Stella introduced him to the queen and king. Blaze bowed to the king and the queen. When he got to me, he kissed my hand and told me that she looked beautiful. Chase looked angry, while I blushed scarlet. Stella looked happy for some reason.
"Well, Luna, why don't you show our guests their rooms," her dad said in excitement. I rolled her eyes and Stella grinned. Blaze looked at me, while Chase still glared at him. "Follow me," I told them impartially. Blaze, Stella, and Chase followed me quickly to their quarters. As they walked, Blaze came up to me. "I like your ring," he completed. He pointed to the black ring embodied with a single gold jewel. "Black is a nice color on you." he smiled at me. Some people taught them black was a weird color, they said it didn't fit me, but I liked it. "T-thanks," I stammered while blushing. He smirked. He was super hot! I then pointed to the room opposite mine, "this is your room," I told Blaze. He thanked me and went into the room.
I then looked at Stella, trying my hardest not to insult her. I pointed to the room next to mine. "This is your room," I said in an unpleasant tone. "Thanks," Stella responds in an equally rude way. But she did not leave. "Shouldn't you go into your room?" Chase asked, flickering his amazing blonde hair to her. "Nope," she said as she trailed along. "And finally, this is your room," I pointed to a door and then to Chase. "Thank you," he responded going into his quarters. When he was fully gone, Stella looked back at me. She looked like she was going to burst. "Do not think for a second, that you can just steal MY guy!" Stella almost yelled at me. I just turned and left. Rolling my eyes for the third time today.
