Third person POV:
It was a sunny day and the weather was perfect for a walk ,but today wasn't an ordinary day it was the lantern rites festival.

You and Xiao have been best friends for a long time and every time it was the lantern rite you would be so annoying to convince Xiao to come with you every year.

But not this year. You've forgotten it was today and thought it was 5 days ahead. You've lost track of time because of all the adventures you've gone too.

Xiao was getting worried why you haven't came to his place yet. You would come to him and annoy him every time so he thought he'd ask you out today.

While thinking about it he got butterflies in his stomach and his cheeks turned bright pink. Xiao calmed down and went down stairs to ask Verr Goldet where have you gone off to.

"Hey Verr Goldet where was the last time you saw Y/N?"Xiao calmly asked the woman.

"I saw here heading towards Liyue a few hours ago. Why do you ask? Are you going to ask her out?"She smirked as Xiao sent her a glare "It is none of your business mortal, but thank you anyways. Goodbye"

"Bye Xiao! Don't forget to ask her out!" The woman giggled as the yaksha dissapeared Infront of her 'My child is growing up so fast he's already asking a girl out' she said it in her mind while wiping off a fake tear and getting back to work.

Xiaos POV:

I teleported on a building roof so I can see every mortal and find Y/N. I kept teleporting and teleporting roof on roof and got exhausted. I tought of going in a restaurant to buy almond tofu for a quick snack.

As I jump of the roof I went near third round knockout. As I walked there I saw Mor- Zhongli sitting peacefully drinking some tea. Maybe he's seen you somewhere.

I sit down next to him and he starts speaking.
"Oh hello there Xiao what brings you here?" He asked calmly wich I reply too "I want to ask you a question have you seen Y/N anywhere I've been looking for her about an hour here" just thinking about her gives me butterflies.

Zhongli saw how Xiao blushed when he mentioned your name wich he smiled at.
"Yes I saw her . In fact we chatted for a while and she said she had to go" I ordered .t almond tofu before talking to him and the lady came and gave me it.

After I munched on my food I asked Zhongli "Where did she went?" Zhongli smiled "She went to the wangshen funeral parlor to meet up with Hu Tao " He said "Thank you Fa- I mean Zhongli"

I stood up and went to the wangshen funeral parlor. There's one thing I hate is Hu Tao she'll tease me for sure.

Hu Tao was just standing and talking to Yanfei. 'Atleast Yanfei is here'

Hu Tao noticed me coming towards here and she yelled "HEYY!!!!!! XIAO WHAT BRING YOU HERE????" She yelled burning my ears "Could you stop yelling in my ears!" I shot a death glare to her " I just want to ask you one question and that's it." Yanfei spoke "Sure fire ahead!" I calmed down "Where did you see Y/N the last time?"

Hu Tao got suspicious of him asking that question but Yanfei answered for her "She said she was heading off to wangshu Inn to see you , but now that you're here she's probably waiting for you " I stood there frozen realising that she was there the whole time.

Before Hu Tao could speak I quickly teleported to wangshu Inn and saw Y/N near the railings. Y/N heard me teleport and turned around and spoke "IVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR YOU WHERE DID YOU GOOOO" She ran in to my arms hugging me.

My face turned red so fast of how close we were "I apologize ,but... I was looking for you also."She stood up and looked at me.

"What for?" That's when it hit me my face turned in so many different shades of red. I was to scared to ask her for the first time.

"I-i wanted to ask you s-something" you where do confused.
'I want to kiss you so bad cuddle you so bad and kiss you a million times until I explode Why are you so cute!!' I said it in my mind though it felt like I've said it out loud.

Third person POV:

"I- wanted to ask... W-would y-you g-go out w-with me to the lantern rites f-festival?" You stood there as he finished what he said.

You started walking closer to him and closer and closer until he hit the wall and your faces were inches away from eachother.

He stared blushing real hard and you just giggled "you're so cute when you're flustered and... Of course I will go out with you"

You looked at his lips and then at his eyes.
You asked "Can I?" Wich he agreed

Your lips touched eachother. I warm fuzzy feeling was inside both of yours stomach.
You liked the feeling after kissing you broke the kiss.

You backed away and grabbed his hand "cmon!! We gotta get to Liyue before the festival starts!"you smiled so much that you couldn't stop smiling

You and Xiao teleported there and sat on a rock wich was on a hill and wacthed as the lanterns get released "Yes! We made it in time!" You smiled as you wacthed the lanterns Xiao said "The view is bueatiful here" in wich you said "it really is bueatiful" but he was looking at you, your gorgeous eyes and lips that he couldn't stop looking at...
