I looked up at the stars, hugging my knees. I had always found them particularly interesting. They always seemed to know something that I didn't. Sitting in the sky looking down upon the earth, just watching, for longer than we had been here. They instil a sense of calm within me. Making me forget about my problems as they opened my mind to the rest of the universe.
I liked to sit out here and think. To just let the rest of the world fade away. I could spend hours out here just thinking of nothing and everything all at once.
No-one else knows of course. They would think i was crazier than they do already. I'm not crazy. At least i think I'm not. but sometimes I'm not so sure.
I glance down at my phone and notice its 3am. I rise into a crouched position and make my way across the roof to my bedroom window. Stealing one last look at the stars before sipping through my bedroom window.
The house was deadly silent except from my quiet breathing. I silently get ready for bed and crawl between the covers. After staring into the darkness for seemingly forever I drift off into an uneasy sleep.
