Note: Another five 4-Townies group part! Thank you!

It's the first day of summer.

The middle school bell rang.

The kids are leaving and cheering for a celebration.

It was the last day of Pearson Middle School.

Mei, Miriam, Priya and Abby sprints on the sidewalk.

Tyler hurrying behind them. He waves at the four girls. "Hey, 4-Townies! Wait up!" Tyler hollered.

They slowed down for a moment.

He catches up to them. Tyler was quizzical. "Are you girls still going to summer camp this season?" He wondered.

The five of them are walking down on the sidewalk.

Mei, Miriam, Priya and Abby encounters him. They are all delighted.

Mei points out. "We are." She replied.

Miriam gyrates herself. "The girls and I are spending a month at Camp Aphrodite." She mentioned.

Priya gestured to the three girls. "We're probably gonna do one activity a day at the time." She states.

Abby prances a little. "And get ice cream for our best efforts!" She exclaimed.

Tyler shrugged. "Okay. Sounds fun." He said.

Mei tilted her head. She was baffled. "What about you? Any plans for summer, Tyler?" Mei asked.

He doesn't seem anxious. "I'm going to summer camp too." Tyler answered.

Miriam was curious. "Huh, which summer camp you're going to?" She wonders.

He sighed. Tyler was nervous. He faced her. "It was my dad's decision. And...your mom mentions about your past years at Camp Apollo yesterday earlier." Tyler said.

Abby perturbs and groans.

Priya shook her head.

Mei was annoyed. "Oh come on..." she said.

Miriam perturbed. "Aw, forget that I asked." She reminded herself.

He felt bad for Miriam. Then, Tyler became concerned. "You guys are lucky that you're not going there this year. I even tried to talk my dad out of it. He wasn't convinced." Tyler uttered.

The four girls halted. They gasped.

He noticed. Tyler halts too.

Mei was astonished. "Wha? What do you mean 'we're lucky for not going to Camp Apollo'?" She asks.

He faced them. Tyler was dead serious. "My mom was watching the news last night. There was a big black wild bear running loose near that camp. I was too scared to go to this summer camp because of it. My dad thinks the wildlife rangers will take care of the bear." He clarifies.

Priya was angry. "That's it? Just one bear?" She wonders.

Miriam frowns. "You're such a wuss." She stated.

Abby was mad. "Face your fear like a man, Tyler!" She shouted.

Mei blinks her eyelids twice.

He was troubled. "Look, dudes. I don't mind living like a coward than a hero. There's no way that I'm facing the big scary bear by myself." Tyler bickered.

Miriam shook her head. "You can't run away from anything. Maybe it's about time you learn your survival instincts." She suggested.

He was triggered. "I have no survival instincts!" Tyler argued.

Mei huffs and puffs. She grunted. Poof! Mei became a giant red panda. She was furious.

He gets fearful. "Mei, Mei." Tyler added. He was backing up hastily. "Mei-Mei-Mei-Mei?! What are you doing?!" Tyler exclaims.

Red Panda Mei pretends to be an animal. "I am not Mei, scaredy-cat. I am a bear. A big wild starving bear." She said. Red Panda Mei licks her chompers. She was stomping like a giant.

He was hesitant. "Okay, okay!" Tyler added, exclaiming. He brought something out of his sweatshirt. "One more move and I'll give you the honey treatment." Tyler uttered. He had a small jar of homemade honey.

Red Panda Mei got her eyes widened. She raises her two front paws up. "Ah!" Red Panda Mei shrieked.

Tyler was confused. He has no clue what happened.

Miriam, Priya and Abby applauded at him.

Miriam raises her roofs. "That's it, Tyler!" She cheered.

Priya have her hands over her mouth. "Woh!" She hollers.

Abby have her fists up in the air. "Distract the bear with your honey bomb!" She exclaims.

Red Panda Mei takes deep breaths. She was calmed. Poof! Mei became a human again. She was cheerful. "That was good! Bears loved honey!" Mei exclaimed.

He chuckled. Tyler was relieved. "Heh. I have not known that." He said.

Miriam was chilled. "Tyler, if it wasn't for my mom, I would not know bears loves honey a lot either." She stated.

Priya was befuddled. "Say, did you really carried that jar of honey with you all day?" She wondered.

He shrugs. "I gotta prepare for Camp Apollo." Tyler replied.

Abby was eccentric. "Despite the bear, have fun over there." She said.

He was confident. "Same goes to Camp Aphrodite." Tyler said.

Mei was delightful. "Thanks." She added. Mei realized. "Oh, sorry if I scared you again." She apologized.

He shrugged again. "No biggie." Tyler said.
