It was June 26th, 2002.

In Camp Apollo, Miss Coralinski told the troopers to go hike in the forest. She also mentions to the six kids that they can go together this time.

Mei, Miriam, Priya, Abby, Tyler and Stacy shrugged.

Miss Coralinski heads back to the office tent.

Mei was resolute. "All right. Huddle up, troops." She told them.

Miriam glances at Miss Coralinski. She raises her eyebrow at Miss Coralinski. Miriam was perplexed.

Stacy pops her head out from the gathering. She was confused. "Mir, get over here!" Stacy added, exclaiming. Miriam encountered her. Stacy gestures. "Come on! Mei needs you!" Stacy hollered.

Miriam nodded her head twice. She was confident yet aware. "Okay." Miriam added. She runs like a bunny. "I'm coming." Miriam stated. She joined the big assemble in a circle.

Mei faced Miriam. She was serious. "Mir, you know this camp more than we do." Mei said.

Priya, Abby, Tyler and Stacy faces Miriam with Mei.

Miriam frowned. "Yes I do. Mei, there's something else I should have seen sooner. Eight years ago, Mrs. Merryweather was my main ranger for Camp Apollo. I don't see her." Miriam believed.

Priya was bewildered. "Dude, do you know what happened to Mrs. Merryweather?" She wondered.

Miriam was definite. She looks at Priya. "Mrs. Merryweather retired last year. Girl, I don't think she hired Miss C to be a new Camp Apollo ranger." Miriam replied.

Abby growls. She was angry. "Dude, it WAS a set up!" Abby whispered.

Stacy was nervous. "Who the heck would do that?" She asks.

He was triggered. "Who cares! And whose idea is it to go out for summer camp!" Tyler exclaims. He stares at Abby.

Mei, Miriam, Priya and Stacy mimicked his glance.

Abby furrows her brows. She gets mad at him. "Don't blame on me, Tyler! My dad arranged us to go to Camp Aphrodite, not Camp Apollo!" Abby exclaimed.

Stacy shrugs. "Maybe your dad got persuaded by Camp Apollo." She guessed.

Miriam shook her head. She was annoyed. "Guys, arguing isn't going to send help to our parents." Miriam stated.

Priya, Abby, Tyler and Stacy halts their bickering.

They're all flabbergasted.

Mei was concerned. "Mir's right, fellas. If it wasn't for the mailbox, which it's half a mile away, I wouldn't be able to send my parents a letter sooner." Mei mentioned. She was desperate.

He extends his arms. Tyler glanced at her. "Mei, will your mom and dad will ever get your mail any day, anyhow?" He asks.

Mei sighs. She was sure. "Chinatown isn't far from Camp Apollo. My mom or my dad...or both of them should get my letter by now..." Mei answers.

They got startled by the ranger's shout.

The six kids positions to the office tent.

It was Miss Coralinski. She smiles in her insistence. "What are you troopers strategizing for? A way back here without getting lost?" Miss Coralinski added, wondering. Mei, Miriam, Priya, Abby, Tyler and Stacy are unease. Miss Coralinski took a deep breath. She was reassuring yet bizarre. "Miriam, lead the troopers to the forest. Don't worry about wildlife critters. They won't hurt ya." Miss Coralinski instructed her.

Miriam gulped.

Priya rolls her eyes. She was stern. "Yeah, like a bear for example." Priya whispers.

He jumps up for the thought of it. Tyler was perturbed. "Dude, please don't say bear again." He begged.
