1. This is us

Alexis POV~
Me and Tanner have been Bestfriends since the first day of our first year of pre school. I remember that day perfectly.
Flashback-
I walked into the classroom, my blonde hair curly, my hazel eyes in little blue glasses, wearing my sky blue dress. I walked over to the group of girls and they said "we don't wear blue dresses and glasses so you can't play or be friends with us" I ran out of the classroom and this boy wearing a blue shirt and black shorts came up to me. "I'm Tanner, are you okay?" "I'm Alexis, I don't know those girls said I can't be friends with them because I'm wearing a blue dress and I have glasses" I let out a soft sob. "Hey girl don't cry. I'll be your friend because your nice and pretty"
End of flashback-
13 years we've been Bestfriends, 13 years, no fights, no interruptions, no one in the way. My grand father, Papa Charlie had always told me that 'if you've been friends with someone but haven't gotten into major fights, they're a keeper' my grandfather had passed away from a heart attack 8 years ago tomorrow.
(A/n this grandfather stuff is what happened to my grandfather. He had a heart attack when I was a little, June 7will be his 11year marking since he died)
Tanner went threw the heart break with me. I had a little sister named Gracie but she had a heart defect and she had passed. Tanner was devastated when she had passed, we all were. My mother is seven months pregnant and is having a boy. Tanner is beyond excited since he has no siblings. When tanner was younger his older sister committed suicide. But the sad thing was she didn't see him in the room and she stepped off the chair, he witnessed it all happen so fast. After that his parents got divorced and his father got costody of him and his father became an alcoholic and drug adit. Tanner would get beat every night till my mother say al the marks of his back and stomach when we went swimming last Summer and his dad is in jail while tanner lives with us. Now we're both in 10th Grade but I'm the smartest in the whole grade. Today is June 6, 3more days till we're out of school. Which means 6 days till me and Tanner go to an event called Magcon. Our parents surprised us with VIP Magcon tickets for our birthday, May 18. We were born on the same day, I was born on May 18, 1998 at 5:06am and Tanner was born on May 18, 1998 at 6:05 am. Me and Tanner look like we could be twins. We both have blonde hair with hazel eyes. I'm 5'5 and he's 6'2 when we hug Im so little I only come up to where his Adam's apple is. But we both are very athletic. I play: Hockey, Softball, Basketball, Lacrosse, summer Soccer, and Volleyball. Tanner plays; Hockey, Baseball, Basketball, Summer Soccer, Football, and Lacrosse. So you could imagine were in shape, we are but I still feel fat. Last year Tanner and I tried dating, we thought we'd be better off Bestfriends so that's what we are. I couldn't have asked for a better person in my life then Tanner, he's my bestfriend, my brother, my everything, he's everything I could say. I'd be lost without him. I was blessed to have him in my life.
