Alex pov:

It has been around 2 months since I proposed to Kate.  Laura and Clint had been planning like crazy and Kate was just stressing out. "Hey," I said rubbing her shoulders from behind. "Hi love," she said looking up from her computer. "What are you looking at?"  She looked back at her screen. "Just some venues." 

I nodded and walked over to the kitchen where I poured her some coffee. "Thank you," she said as I set the cup down in front of her. I smiled and gave her a small kiss. We talked about venues for a little before I told her my idea.

"What if we had the wedding here in the farm?"  She looked up at me. "I never thought about that," she picked up her phone and called Laura.

They had a short conversation before Kate looked over at me and smiled.  "Ok well I can call the caterer and you get the chairs ok? Alright bye."  I raised my eyebrows and she nodded.

I picked her up by the waist and spun her around. "This is going to be amazing."  I said before planting a kiss one her lips. She deepened the kiss and it was just us for that moment.  A perfect moment of just us two. Then the doorbell rang.

Kate pov:

I walked over and opened the door to see Bucky and Sam. "Hey!" I yell and quickly hug both of them. "Sup kid?"  Sam asks as they hug me back.  "We heard that Alex popped the question."  I look back at Alex who blushes and nods. "Let's see the ring girl!"  Sam said holding out the L. I laugh and show them the ring that Alex got me.

It was a simple sliver band with a round cut Amethyst gem. (Purple is my favorite color) "Wow this is fancy!"  Sam exclaimed as he inspected my ring. "I'm too broke to buy anything right now."  I giggle at his comment and say. "As broke as Cinderella?"  He sighs and says, "yesssssss. We are both broke so we understand each other." 

Alex busted out laughing and Bucky was trying to hold his laughter in. "It's ok to laugh Bucky, it helps with stress." I say to him, he scoffed at my comment and pushed past me into the kitchen. "What kind of alcohol do you have?"  We all walked into the kitchen with him. "Bucky I'm Russian we have the strongest vodka."  Alex said as she pulled a bottle from a hidden cabinet.

After everyone had 2 shots Bucky and Sam left because Sam was getting drunk. "Bye besties!"  I call when they left. I look back in the house a Alex who was taking another shot. "Why don't we get ready for bed?"  She nods and we clean up the kitchen a little before we both got ready for bed.

Alex pov:

I hopped into the shower while Kate brushed her teeth. When I got out she was in the bed on her phone. I brushed my teeth then joined her in bed.   As I climbed in she wrapped her arms around me. "Hi," I said she nuzzled into my chest.  "I love you." I say as I flip off the lights with my powers.  "I love you more." Kate says.

Soon we both fall asleep and all I can think is. How did I get so lucky?
