Myron Pope earned a bachelor's degree in history and English as well as master's and doctorate degrees in higher education management from the University of Alabama. In addition, Myron Pope has served on numerous professional and community boards at the local, regional, and national levels.

To increase productivity, Myron Pope has been responsible for controlling budgets, allocating resources, and establishing and empowering high-performing teams as a vice president of student life at the University of Alabama since 2020. In addition, Myron Pope successfully leads and manages a varied portfolio of programs to meet company goals.

Myron Pope designed best practices to embrace change and drive transformation. He has strong managerial skills and a forward-thinking mentality for creating solid action plans that prioritize cost, quality, performance, and timeliness.

Myron Pope has also advised, trained, and lectured on topics such as higher education/student affairs administration, leadership development, diversity initiatives in the workplace and society, board governance, team building, strategic planning, TRIO programs, and college student success throughout the United States and abroad.

In the execution of the Native American Student Success Initiative, Myron Pope cooperated with the Native American Faculty and Staff Association while working at the University of Central Oklahoma.
