Flopping on the sofa  when I got home, sales were complete. My stomach growled as I got up to  change into my blue nightwear, before heading to the fridge to warm up  leftover pizza. The words of Barbara kept running through my mind,  checking my pulse. I just went to the doctor last month and was told my  health was doing well still. Going over to my briefcase I got out the  invitation card, looking over at the clock on the stove, still having  time to head over there.

So it was with a heavy  heart that, I decided to go. Gaping at the big house, in front of me  through my BMW's window as the gates opened for me. Barbara runs out of  the house, having a red glitter dress on. I parked on the side of the  house. Getting out, "we got valet parking over here?"

I snorted, "Like I want  someone else touching my car," I hit the lock button on my automatic  keys. Barbara followed me over to the house, "so this is your dad's  house huh?" peering at it. It was a white house. With a white fountain  in the front. Looked over at Barbara, she had her hair loose, wavy on  the ends.

"What do you think of  this house?" she wondered, smiling as if she is proud of living here. I  told her it was giant compared to where I live, "be nice see yours as  well some time." Going inside, I looked over at her, 'Why is she so interested  in me?' what does she see in me, of all places. I am just a boring  salesman, "oh, you can drop your keys in there," she pointed at the  glass bowl. I tucked it in my pocket, not wanting anyone else touching  my keys.

There were servants in  the house, "Your parents' staff right?" she nodded, "how did you get  them to agree to help you with this party?"

Barbara giggled at me,  "Money always fixes things," she said, I was blown away by that, 'She  thinks like me.' One of the male servants handed me a glass of punch in  it, "drink it slowly, we put a good amount of liquor in there." I sipped it, "you  don't work on the weekends right?"

"Only at home," I answered, taking another sip, "this is quite good," she nodded, smiling at this.

"Come on?" Barbara  hooked her arm undermine, dragging me over to a group of young people,  "this Luke Rickson, he is my cousin," I nodded, not knowing why I am  being introduced to him. Luke shook my hand, he seemed to be a student,  'Perhaps university?"

They whispered among  each other, "Do you think he is the one?" Luke whispered to her. She  looked over at me and nodded. This had me confused. Luke walked closer  to me, "come, there is something I want to discuss with you." I looked  over Barbara, who nodded to go with him.

I sat down on a white  sofa, that was covered with plastic. He joined me, by sitting next to  me. I sipped my punch, waiting for him to talk. Feeling weird about  sitting down next to another guy and so close at that.

"So, Jonathon Muller is  it?"  I nodded, "you probably want me to get right to point here?" I  nodded again, would be fully appreciated, "well...I am a student and  need a guinea pig for a project," I stopped sipping, looking over at  Luke, "a psychology one at that," he handed me a pamphlet.

He looking for a guinea  pig such as me, to transform into a new look and personality. I handed  him the flier, "I am perfectly happy the way I am."

"You cannot possibly  mean that?" he looked over at my feature, "you want more in life, I can  tell."  I looked down at my drink, 'My life has been boring to me  lately.' "This also involves pay by the way?" that word struck me, "is  that deal then?"

"How much pay are we talking about here?"

"Well, I am a student,  and I don't work, my parents' give me a good amount of allowance though.  How about $200 for each session. But to earn that, you would have to do  exactly as I say?" he points my finger at me. I thought about it while  sipping my punch. Nodding silently, wanting the two-hundred bucks.

"On one condition, it does not affect my work schedule."

"Great, do you work at  the office tomorrow?" I shook my head, "great, then how about you swing  by my house, at 10:00 am?" Luke hands me his business card, with his  address on it, "you are welcome to bring someone with you." He gets up  for the sofa, leaving me to my thoughts. As Barbara joins me.

"So, how did it go?" she  wondered, "did you agree to be his project?" I nodded while sipping my  drink, "you probably shouldn't for the rest of the night," she pointed  to the glass. I nodded, she had a point, "you can take one of the guest  rooms?"
