Alice walked down a dirt path the ground crunching under her feet while she walks. The wind was strong almost blowing her off her feet at one point. The trees where blowing making a relaxing shuffling sound the grass was swaying back and forth. Alice always enjoyed outside even after the crazy adventure she went on as a kid. Alice remembers wonderland clearly she remember the paths and the weirdness that lead to her being free but she enjoyed it never the less. That was 11 years ago Alice just had her 18th birthday not long ago. Alice wanted to relax without her parents up her ass all the time.
She wasn't like Dorothy by the slightest wonderland wasn't a dream well that's what Alice thought anyways. she told herself for the past 11 years that it wasn't a dream if you remember it clearly. Because of it people tell stories about her 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚐𝚒𝚛𝚕 𝚠𝚑𝚘 𝚕𝚘𝚜𝚝 𝚑𝚎𝚛 𝚖𝚒𝚗𝚍 as they called it,Or 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚐𝚒𝚛𝚕 𝚠𝚑𝚘 𝚝𝚛𝚒𝚙𝚙𝚎𝚍 𝚘𝚗 𝚒𝚕𝚕𝚎𝚐𝚊𝚕 𝚍𝚛𝚞𝚐𝚜. Alice didn't care much. She hated what her hometown has turned into. The people were to quick to Judge or they always throw something religious on someone that didn't want to be like them. Alice greatly hated that the men and women were still trying to get rid of people who where trying to be themselves for no apparent reason. They hated Alice just as much as she hated them.
What a strange feeling she had when she was out of that shitty town. She felt happiness and calm for however long she was out for. Alice didn't really notice them coming out of town unless it was for "real emergency's". 𝚂𝚝𝚞𝚙𝚒𝚍,Alice thought while thinking about it. Alice closed her eyes hoping the wind will clear her own thoughts away. She stood still in the relaxing woods in the middle of the path listening to all the animals jump and chirp into the rivers and walking to go find food. She listened to the trees while the squirrels and birds make nests and hide food. Alice smiled at the sounds. She finally felt relaxed more relaxed then the walk to here wherever here is. Alice was in the exact spot her own house was many years ago.
Alice's heart sank as she looked at the surroundings. She saw her young self running and laughing through her old yard with her long gone kitten behind her. She got tears to her eyes as she got flashbacks of the good years her and Dinah had together. She was devastated when she lost Dinah from old age a year ago. Alice's sister didn't seem to mind the lost of Dinah. Her sister was busy making sure that she was the best of the best in her class. Alice looked at the one loose piece of the house as it swings back and forth squeaking once in the while in the wind. "What the fuck happened." She asked herself in a soft and raspy voice choking on her tears. Alice knew no one could answer that even if they where there when they tore it down leaving nothing but a sad memory in Alice's heart.
She was 11 at the time her house had to get taken down and her sister went off to start her dream that's when her mom and dad came back and surprised Alice and her sister with a new house. Alice was furious about what happened and why it happened but she kept her mouth shut. "Oh this is a lovely house I wish I could stay but I have a dream to catch" Alice's sister said in a sweet soft tune. Alice wanted nothing to do with the situation so she always made plans to skip the pep talk or the fact that her parents could tell she wasn't so sure about it still. Alice was the only one who knew she was broken and mad even on good days, There was always that one thing that ticked her off the most and that was the Forced topics she isn't ready to talk about at all yet. She hated it now more then ever.
The white rabbit popped into her mind. 𝚆𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚊 𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊𝚗𝚐𝚎 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚝𝚘 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚔 𝚊𝚋𝚘𝚞𝚝 𝚒𝚗 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝙼𝚒𝚍𝚍𝚕𝚎 𝚘𝚏 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚜 𝚝𝚑𝚘𝚞𝚐𝚑𝚝. Alice said to herself with confusion on her face. She thought hard about it but continued on walking not questioning the weird conversation she had to herself not long before. She stopped by the wishing tree the one tree she sat under for years and years and where she sat and wished for everything that a 18 year old would want. Alice couldn't bare to think about it anymore, the thought of her normal childhood changing over a memory, or was it a dream? She couldn't stand it. Slowly standing up stumbling as she does the sound of crushing leafs under her shoes. She walked to the house. The creaking wood was louder now, as the old molded Burnt floors creaked as she walked.
