It was the last time the super naturals had seen the humans. The humans left before they could say anything else. They used guns and poison, They didn't want to give up even if that meant killing innocent people. They wanted to use the super naturals for their power instead of their lives. When all hope lost, The world was destroyed by a single bomb. A group of super naturals went into hiding. They wanted to rebuild the world from scratch but the bombs kept exploding. Eventually they decided to hide underground to prevent anyone from finding them. Soon later the creatures found them and helped rebuild the society. Chapter 2

"Good morning everyone! Today we have the best thing! We're doing a special today because you know how much I love this." She grinned. "Everyone who wants a job can get one. You need to come to my office tomorrow around noon." With that she disappeared behind her desk. A few people looked at one another. A man said "Is that Jessie, Doesn't she work at the Orphanage that lady that just came in." The other nodded. "I can hear you!" Jessie shouted from the back. The man turned bright red and muttered some words under his breath before leaving. Jessie laughed, turning on her computer. She took a deep breath and exhaled before opening up the school website. Her parents owned the company and had put everything together but somehow, she still got lost in the paperwork. She clicked on the web link that said "Orphans". An image of a tiny girl with curly hair appeared. She read the information on the website before smiling. She loved kids. She loved being part of the system for them. "It'll probably take me months..." She sighed before looking around to make sure no one else was listening. Her friend walked in and said "Jessie i heard you started working for chesterfield orphanage." Luke Said as he turned the corner into her office. Jessie laughed and closed her laptop. "It wasn't easy. It was actually hard...but I'm glad he liked what i wrote about him." Jessie smiled, "Luke? Did you finish your essay?" She asked. He nodded before pulling out a piece of paper. "I think so." She gave him a thumbs up. Luke was a great student. Jessie smiled before turning back to her computer. "Alright class! Let's get started!" She screamed, standing up and running into her classroom. Luke sat down in his seat and picked up his pencil. He opened his notebook and began writing. His mind wandered off into another world. Suddenly his vision started to fade away. As if he couldn't focus. Then Luke saw a face. It was familiar but different, he wasn't sure if he had seen it somewhere before or not. Maybe in dreams. The person reached towards him and spoke, "We need you Luke!" A voice whispered. Jessie looked up and saw Luke Daydreaming "LUKE!" Jessie said to snap him out of it. Luke jumped and the class laughed at him as he looked back at his desk. He looked down at the paper and stared at the question again, this time focusing harder. Jessie walked up beside him, "How does it sound if I sing a song about someone?" She whispered. Luke smiled, "I'd rather you did." Luke said. Jessie grabbed the microphone. "There was once a guy, he wanted to fly." She sang softly. Luke felt himself relax, she was starting to get good at singing already. Jessie finished the song and Luke clapped excitedly. She placed the microphone back onto its stand. "You have talent Girl!" A male teacher exclaimed. Jessie blushed slightly. Jessie's father was a famous author. Every year she went to a concert or book signing. The kids always talked about Jessie and what a singer she is, she never thought she would meet a fan. But now here he was, sitting in front of her. "Thank you sir!" she responded, bowing politely. She pulled out her backpack and dug through her bag. She pulled out a folded piece of paper. She handed it to the teacher "Here is his card sir." Jessie said. She stood up and bowed to Luke. He smiled and waved goodbye. She grabbed her bag and walked towards the door, before exiting she stopped and turned back. "You better not forget about our date tomorrow!!!" She yelled. Jessie giggled and rolled her eyes before walking out the door. Her next class was history. After lunch she walked out the door. She headed straight to the library. Jessie entered the library and looked around for a table. She spotted one near the window and headed to it. Before sitting down though she checked the clock. She quickly got a chair from the nearest aisle and sat in it. She leaned over and opened her laptop. The bell rang and her friends showed up. She waved and greeted them. "Hey guys!! How was your classes?" She asked before typing away. The girls smiled as they took seats. "I had three APUSH classes!" Emily exclaimed, "I had AP Chemistry 3 and PE3. So I made it to the end of my classes without passing!" Emily explained. Jessica smiled before saying "Me too!!! So what were you guys talking about?" She asked. Emily shrugged, "Nothing really. Just talking about our classes." Emily replied. Jessica nodded and looked at her phone. "Oh shit! I forgot to ask Luke if he wanted to hang out tonight!" She said. Emily raised an eyebrow, "What do you mean?" She asked. Jessica sighed... All the sudden a lockdown began and the speaker said a Creature with a human body but had ears and a tail entered the building and ran through the halls, getting people trapped in the building until there was nowhere left to run. Everyone began screaming. Emily covered her mouth with both hands. "Jessica!!" Emily exclaimed. Jess was frozen. Everything went blurry. Suddenly she realized that Emily had gotten up and started screaming. Then a giant fireball shot towards Jess. Jessie stood up and all the sudden she Got fox ears a tail and She ran infront of the fire ball and caught it. The kids screamed at the sight of their teacher catching a fireball. Jessie also know has Jessica droped the fireball noticing the ears and tail. she screamed and asked the others if she was seeing things. Everyone said no and they ran outside. Jess held her stomach while she fell to the ground trying to catch her breath. A girl rushed up to her, "Are you okay Ms. Sorey?!" The girl asked frantically. Jessie nodded but her vision blurred again. She suddenly remembered her dream. She stood up and looked at the girl, "Sorry I'm fine..." She said, then collapsed. She woke up in a pool of water. She sat up slowly and looked around for something. Then she noticed that there weren't any kids around. Her heart dropped and her mind started racing. No one was coming for her! What happened? Was she kidnapped? Is she still being targeted? Where am I now?She stood up slowly and ducked under her arm and climbed out of the pool. Jess started shaking. She needed to find the exit. Slowly she walked around the room until she came upon a large doorway. Her ears went down she forgot about them. She opened it carefully and peered inside. There seemed to be multiple doors leading to different areas in the mansion. In the center was a huge staircase. She climbed it carefully. She could feel that the whole building was on edge. She stepped cautiously as if every floor would give out. Finally reaching the top she noticed a small window. She reached for the handle and pulled it open. Once she was in she crawled through the window and jumped into the grass. She gasped and shook her head, clearing the dizziness out. She looked around. She had no idea where she was. She started to walk but soon decided that it wasn't a good idea. A man with horns and wings walked up to her and said "You must be the newcomer! Im chester. Welcome to your new home!" Jess gulped, he sounded like a demon. Chester walked over to her and pointed to the mansion, "This mansion belonged to my ancestors. You will stay here." Jess nodded and he started to walk away when Jess called out to him, "Wait! How am I supposed to go back to the orphanage?" Chesters face darkened as he walked back toward her. He knelt down so he was eye level with her, "My daughter has gone missing. We're in search of her right now. When I come back tomorrow night, you will show me how to get back. Understood?" Chesters voice was rough, deep and threatening. Jess gulped and nodded. "Good." Chesters voice filled with anger and disappeared leaving behind a strange feeling. Jess shivered.
