Elaine and Ethan are childhood bestfriends, buddies in everything. Their parents are one of the most successful and powerful partnership in the business industry. Elaine has a feelings for Ethan, but she don't have any courage to confess it to Ethan.

But as days pass by, Elaine gathered enough courage to tell Ethan about her true feelings. Whether Ethan likes her or not, at least she is true to herself. She thought that if she tells the truth, nothing will change to their relationship as bestfriends. She thought that there will be no awkwardness between them.

Meanwhile, Elaine have finally arrived at their favorite park. They used to see the flowers bloom, hear the birds chirping, see the butterflies flying...where they share their thoughts and secrets. Few minutes after, Ethan arrived and saw Elaine sitting in their favorite spot and also sat beside her.

"Hey! So why did you want to meet me?" He asked so actively

"I have something to confess..."

"Ako rin" His words made Elaine worry, What if it's friendship over? What if he's going abroad? What if he's leaving me...her what if's keep on running through her head.

"You first"

Ethan stood up from the bench and walked to his car. Elaine keeps her eyes on him seeing him opening the door of his car and grabbed...A Girl, she seems so close and special to Ethan. As they came closer to Elaine, they are holding hands which made her curious about that girl and Ethan connection to each other.

"Elaine I want you to meet...Lara" he said in front of Elaine while looking at Lara and holding her hand.

"H-hi" she stutter while Ethan introduced Lara to her. She stood up from her seat and shake hands with Lara

"Hello" Lara said in a cold tone

"My girlfriend"

She immediately took her hands off Lara, her heart stops a beat...and all her courage was gone like a balloon popped. She was so down, thinking if she should continue her confession. She likes to cry but she needs to be strong in front of Ethan and Lara. She can't be a embarrassment in front of the person she loves, that technically loves someone else and only treats her as his bestfriend.

"Y-your G-gi-girlfriend?"

"Yeah"

"Why didn't I know this? Why didn't you tell me? No secrets remember?" She feels worthless in his eyes, because she thought their promise was worthless and Ethan just forgot it in one snap.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier, but your happy for me right?" She wants to say she's not happy, but she needs to be...

"Yeah, o-of course I'm happy for you...for you two"

She knows his girlfriend doesn't like her, but she tries to please Lara and deal with her situation. Lara looks so fashionable and beautiful, Elaine doesn't even need to ask why Ethan liked Lara.

"So, ano nga yung sasabihin mo?"

"Ah...ano...kasi..." She was interrupted by a call, her mom called her "Wait" She excused and answered the call

"Hello Ma?" She said and putted her phone into her ears

"Anak, pumunta ka na dito! Yung kapatid mo nasa ospital!"
