7: Confessions Made Hearts Broken

Evelyn POV
I was mentally judging myself in my head. How could I be so stupid to tell him something like that.
"Um... I'm sorry that wasn't suppose to come out at all. I just needed to..." I was cut off with Noah lips crashed against mine.
He pulled away and looked me in my eyes
"You don't have to worry about me liking any other girl because I only want you." his words were like music to my ears.

My mom walked in with groceries soon after the kiss.
"Hey baby. You feeling better?" mom asked finishing putting up the food.
Me and Noah were now sitting on the couch watching a movie. Cuddled against each other. I'm so glad it's Friday I get to sleep in tomorrow.
"Okay well I bought snacks and more stuff but I'm about to go to bed. Don't stay up too late and Noah if you're going to be staying here use the guest room." she said walking up the stairs.
After she went upstairs I asked Noah
"Are you staying the night or going home?" I was hoping he would stay here. I had strong feelings for him. Was it suppose to be like this. I wouldn't say I love him because we don't even go out yet. I was brought out my thoughts with him talking
"Im going to go home I got things to do in the morning." he said, I felt a little sad. Why couldn't he just go home in the morning. What am I thinking? He's not even mine.
"Okay well I guess I will see you sometime tomorrow?" I asked walking him to the door
"Maybe depends if my day is busy, but I'll text you." he kissed my forehead and left.
I locked everything up and went to my room. I wasn't sleepy so I decided to listen to my music "I'll be alright" came on. Oh how I loved this song so much. I fell asleep listening to it.

My phone started ringing interrupting my lovly sleep.
"Hello?" I asked trying to get rid of my grogily voice
"Hey!! Long time no talk." the unknown person said.
I had to look at the caller ID to see who was I talking to.
"Mae do you know what time it is?" I asked her looking at the time.
"Yeah, but I'm coming to visit you today so get up and get ready for grand entrance." I looked at my ceiling asking myself what did I do to deserve this. Trust me I lobe this girl to death but I just want to sleep that's all.
"Okay when are you arriving?" maybe I'll have at least some me time before she gets here.
"In the next hour so get ready we're going to the mall when I get there." I slumped out the bed dragged my feet across the floor while on the phone.
"Okay I'll see you when you get here." I hung up to get in the shower.

After my shower I dressed in my light skinny jeans and PTV T-shirt with my white converse. I brushed my teeth and put my hair in a high ponytail with light make-up.
I heard a knock at my door.
"Come in" I was finishing up cleaning my room when Mae came running in.
"Oh my gosh! Oh how I've missed you so much." Mae said suffocated me to death.
I had to hit her shoulders in order to get her to let me go.
" So what's the occasion?" Mae didn't just come to visit me when she missed me. No she came when she needed something. We didn't see each other that much since she moved 3 hours away.
" You know me so well, but I just really wanted to hang out so come one so we could go to the mall." I obeyed and we walked out to her car.
On the way to the mall we talked about our lives laughed and joked.
"He sounds like a hottie" she said talking about Noah while getting out the car. I told her all about Noah and everything that's been going on.
"Yeah he is and he's so sweet." I said while we walked inside.
We stopped to get frullati and went looking around talking about random stuff.
"So are you coming to..." I saying when I saw a familiar boy with a blonde headed girl in his arms.
"Eve, what is it?" she asked looking at me
I could only say "He's here with another girl."
Her eyes widen and she asked "That's him?" I just shook my head looking at him in disbelief. He hasn't notice me so I grabbed Mae and hand and walked out the mall.
"I just wanna go home please" I told her looking out the window with tears in my eyes. Mae understood and didn't ask any questions.
Was I overreacting about the whole situation? I mean what if I didn't go to the mall I would've never found out.

Me and Mae were in my room watching Netflix and eating junk food. I got a text and I looked who it was from.
"Hey beautiful" from Noah
Beautiful my ass you lying shit. I wanted to say that to him but I just didn't respond. He then called me but I rejected him.
I got more calls from him but I didn't answer them.
A little later my door bell rang. Does the boy not take the hint that I don't want to talk to him. Mae looked at me and got up to go downstairs and answer the door since my mom was out tonight.
I heard muffled voices then my door opened.
"Why haven't you answered any of my text or called?" he asked looking frustrated.
" Where were you today?" I asked avoiding his question
" What are you talking about?" he asked looking clueless
"I said where were you today?" I was getting a little more pissed now.
"I was handling business, why?" he asked
"With a girl at the mall?" I asked looking him in the eye.
"What girl. Eve are you feeling okay?" what he said set me off from there.
"Are you serious? I feeling damn fine. I aske you a question and you're acting like you don't know what I'm talking about. I saw you at the mall with that blonde girl. All hugged up. I was thinking if I didn't go then would you have ever told me? I doubt it you bastard. I want you to get out right now I don't want to see your face. I know we aren't together but how could you say you only want me when you're with someone else?" I rambled on and on.
He couldn't say anything to justify himself so he just got up and left.
I heard the door close downstairs and cried. Mae held me til I feel asleep.
