"We've just been friends ever since well in better terms family." Daliha says as Val hears the smile in her voice.
Y/n's pov:
We're all looking for valentine as we walk around we got finished with a match and we're probably gonna use the coins for upgrades and perhaps the crystals for recruits to take down brain drain and the skullgirls corporation. "Hey y/n?" Double asks as y/n looks at her. "What do you see valentine as?" I think to myself about who valentine is for me. She's always nice to me always willing to help and a badass. "Probably a really close friend." I say smiling. Eliza and fortune laughs as double sighs and painwheel just stands next to double confused. "That's to bad." Double says walking I look at her confused. "What do you mean?" Double laughs "I really didn't think you'd be that oblivious."double says looking up at me as I look down at it confused. "It handy clicked? The way Valentine looks at you how flustered he gets?" Double says sighing. "No...?" I says confused. "We need to give you a talk about platonic and romantic friendships honey." Eliza says patting my shoulder.
No one's pov:
"Have you seen Parasoul and her goons around lately?" Daliha questions "not that I can recall. Daliha stops her steps looking around and walking slowly. "I've made a few enemies as you can probably tell and this area isn't an exception." Daliha says loading up her gun. "This looks like peacocks area?" Valentine questions "ding ding ding." Someone says as they come out the shadows it's looks like a hammer head shark. "Boss won't be happy about 'ya coming down here unwanted toots." I'm confused on who he's talking to but he's looking  at daliha so I'm guessing her.  "Ah and look who we have here, the infamous skank why dontcha both get out her before we call our boss." He says as his New Jersey accent brings back memories. "Listen shithead we came here to do something and I'll be damned if I let some bottom of the barrel minion tell me and this fine person what we're going to do." Daliha says sticking up for the shorter women. "Suit yourself." He says disappearing. "Peacock is usually ok with people passing by." Valentine says to daliha confused. "Me and peacock were never on good terms for reasons I'm not proud of." Daliha says sighing. "Let's just get out of he-" "hold it doll'" says a mechanical voice behind them. "Me and dahlia have some unfinished business. Did this bitch hurt you Val." Peacock says blowing a puff of her cigar. "N-no." Val says confused on wtf is going on."
No one's pov:
"And that the difference between platonic and romantic relationships." Fortune says bluntly "so your saying valentine has a crush on me?" Y/n asks confused. "That's exactly what we're saying airhead." Eliza says smiling. As their walking by they see a bunch of tvs with news on them. "BREAKING NEWS BLACK DALIHA HAS RETURNED!!! WERE GUESSING Y/N IS HIDING SOMEWHERE ELSE SHE HAS A PERSON HELD IN CAPTIR WITH HER! SHE SEEMS A LITTLE ABOVE AVERAGE WITH BLUE HAIR!!!! BE CAREFUL EVERYONE AND STAY TUNED!!!" Everyone's eyes go wide as they look at y/n's hulking form. "I know where that is come on!" Painwheel shouts running as citizens panic.
