WITH THE TABLES FULL OF FOOD, APOLLO COLLAPSED IN THE SEAT BESIDE CEDRIC. Cedric greeted him cheerfully. He offered Apollo some toast, and the brunette immediately took it, sighing when he took his first bite. Whenever he woke up, he was always hungry.
"You excited for your second year after that entrance, Mr. Apollo Lupin?" Cedric smirked, causing Apollo to only glare at him, tiredness still causing him to be bitter.
Cedric chuckled as he continued eating his own food, Apollo pouring some pumpkin juice when there was a rushing sound overhead and a hundred or so owls streamed in, circling the hall and dropping letters and packages into the chattering crowd. Cedric's beautiful owl fluttered down onto his place majestically, and Apollo noted to add that to the list on how Cedric is simply good at everything.
"Ah, dad's just wishing me good luck as a fourth year. And mum's apparently got a cold from the muggles at the train station," Cedric announced, looking slightly alerted. "Hopefully she'll be better soon."
Apollo flinched when an envelope fell onto his table. He saw it was addressed to him, so he picked it up and immediately noticed his father's handwriting. He was quick to open it, and Cedric was giving him a knowing smirk since Apollo had written to him throughout the summer on how it was reconnected with his dad.
Dear Apollo,
I've just gotten word about how you arrived at Hogwarts. I'm sorry I wasn't there to drop you off, but I'm just glad you're there safely. The way you, Harry and Ron arrived at Hogwarts reminds me on how one of my friends would always find a way to Hogwarts if he accidentally missed the train.
He once took the Knight Bus.
