Chapter 4

**Maelynns POV**
I've been staying with Megan for a couple days now so I haven't really been able to see my mom or brothers. I've decided it would be good for us to catch up and me take a break maybe. And my mom was completely fine with that. But I think I'm going home today because I have my date with Cameron tonight. I don't know exactly what happened yesterday but I'm pretty sure we kissed. Woah. I don't remember though. What do I do. Should I ask him. No that's sounding too desperate. I'm just going to take a nap for about an hour. I was up late last night doing a project . I drift to sleep.
**DREAM**
Our lips crashed on to each other as we were in a closet as school. We were on our way back from the principles office. "Maelynn, will you be my girlfriend"? Cam asks.
"....Ye-"
*end of dream*
I was woke up my Megan.
"Awe I was having a good dream!" I yell. "Sorry Mae, but Cody is here to get you."
"Okay thanks tell him I'll be right there".
"Yep" she said popping the P.
I ran upstairs and grabbed all my stuff. After I was done I walked down the hall and heard Megan talking.
"You are really beautiful Meg". Cody says.
"Thanks Cody ." She blushes.
If I'm not mistaking or dreaming of this too. My brother and best friend were just flirting. Woah. But more importantly I had a dream about what happened at school. Was it all a dream. All I remember is walking in class, sitting next to Cameron, then the bell ringing .
"Come on Mae I have a friend coming over to hang out today." Cody demands. He thinks cause he's a year older he's the boss. Whatever.
I look at him "I'm coming."
"Bye Meg thank you so much for letting me escape and stay here a while. I love you."
"Anytime baby girl love you too ". Meg says giving me a hug.
We walk to the car and there's no music on. "So how is Jack and mom." I ask Cody.
"Same old mom and Jack." Cody relies.
I look at the time. 3:50 pm. We soon arrive home and I'm immediately greeted by Jack. "Mae Mae!!" Jack shouts at me while running towards me.
"Jay!" I say while walking up to him.
"I missed you sissy!"
"I've missed you too ."
We walk up to the house after Jack helped me grab my 3 bags I had. "Hey mom." "Hey sweetie, once you get settled in I need to talk to you a minute in the kitchen."
"Sure thing mom." I run upstairs curious of what my mom wants. I shove my bags in my closet and throw my hair up in a messy bun. I slip on some gray sweatpants and a plain white T-shirt. No make up. All natural. I'm not excited to meet Cody's friend. Last time I met one of his friends, he tried to slap my ass and wanted to call me Sally. I don't get it. Sooner then I expect the doorbell rings. "Cody I think your friend is here.!" I yell across the hall. "Yeah I do to." He says laughing. I don't know why that was funny to him . I stay in my room, until I hear a very familiar voice. "Come on up Cam this is my room and that's my sisters." Did he just say.. Cam?!
Oh my gosh. Should I say hey. Or should I stay in my room and look for an outfit for tonight. But I kinda want to easdrop. I sit next to my locked door and listen I'm as they have a conversation. Cody left his door open so it's not hard to hear. There's just one problem. Cody doesn't know Cameron's my date, and Cameron doesn't know Cody's my brother. Uh oh. This should be interesting.
"So uh Cody. Can I ask for your advice." Cam ask.
"Sure anything ." Cody says.
"Okay well I have this date tonight and I'm kinda nervous. She is a very beautiful girl and I really want to be with her. And I have no idea how she feels. I don't even have her number yet. I just told her to be ready and meet me at the restaurant since I don't have her number or address." Cam says his voice shaky.
"Damn, well ask her how she feels at dinner , or just ask her to be your girl. " Cody's voice escalated to excitement. Why I have no idea. "I don't know. Seems to risky though." Cameron is really nervous about tonight. I decide to text Cody.

*Conversation between Cody and Mae*

M: hey don't tell your friend my name just tell him to come to my room a minute I have to ask a stranger a question. Just don't tell him my name.
*Cody's phone goes off*
C: uh sure .
M:thanks tell him to walk in and close the door behind him.
C: okay.¿

* End of conversation *
Cameron does as he's told and walks in my room. He saw me and his face turned red. "Mae?! " he almost shouts. "Shhhh my brother doesn't know we met. He also dose the know your my date. "
"Shit.!" Cam says his eyes widen.
"Exactly. So I'm going to walk out there with you and we will tell him together okay.?" I ask.
"Um sure." Cam shakes.
"I have to warn you first.." I say placing my hand on the door knob. "My brother is very protective of me."
"Great." Cameron says nervously.
We walk to the room and sit on the bed. "Hey Cody. " I say.
"Yes Mae?" He questions my looks.
"Cameron is my date tonight." I say standing in front of Cameron .
" okay. " he calmly says.
"What? That's it. All your going to say is okay?" I say a little nervous now.
"Yeah, I like Cam he's chill. And seems to really like you Mae." Cody smirks at us.
"Well he should know I really like him too." I say looking at Cody them to Cameron blushing. I'm still standing in front of him as he sit on Cody's bed. He then grabs my waist and sets me on his lap. The three of us talk and get to know more about Cameron as he gets to know us. Then Jack walls in. " sissy can you take me to see my girlfriend at the park." Jack whines.
"Can't Jack I'm sorry bubba." I reply.
"Awe why not ?!" He whines more now.
"Because I have a date with my boyfriend tonight."
"BOYFRIEND?!" Cam and Cody say in sync.
Jack looks behind me at Cameron and says.. "Him?"
" Yep , he's the one".
I turn to Cameron ignoring there reaction and we just talk.
After about an hour , Cameron leaves to get ready and pick me up since he now has my address. I also gave him my number to text me when he's ready. And then he will wait for me. Beauty takes time. I think tonight will defiantly be a night to remember. And I definitely will.
