I'll Follow (Royai Fanfic)

Chapter: 6

"Roy," I sat next to him and shook him awake after I'd gotten out of the shower.

"What?" He mumbled.

"I woke you up 20 minutes ago, you have to get up, you can't be late." I kissed him on the cheek and ran my fingers through his hair.

"Mmhm..." He grumbled.

I grabbed his hands and sat him up. "Come on, wake up a little bit." I kissed him on the forehead and stood up to get dressed.

He finally got up when I started brushing my hair. "Make it quick!" I yelled as he got in the shower.

After I'd put my hair up and got my boots on, he was out getting dressed. We left soon after and as we walked I smiled to myself thinking about how childish he was being this morning. It was adorable.

"Did you not sleep well?" I asked.

"I just didn't want to get up, I wanted to stay home with you again." He wrapped his arm around me and I grinned at him.

"I love you." I hugged him as we walked and he squeezed his one arm around me tighter.

"I love you too, baby."

When we got to the office we positioned ourselves at our desks and started going through paperwork.

"So, word got out that you two were having a little fun last night." Havoc smirked.

"A little too much, perhaps. And guess who's Riza's neighbor." Falman smirked.

"It's Jack, isn't it?" Fuery asked.

"He said he was up all night because of Riza's screaming." He covered his mouth.

"Gee, I wonder what that was about." Breda said sarcastically causing everybody to finally burst out laughing.

"That would be my fault, sorry." Roy chuckled, his cheeks a bright shade of pink. "Now, drop it!" His expression changed completely and I slapped my palm to my face, laughing at his response.

"I wonder when the first baby's gonna show up." Fuery whispered loudly to Breda, causing them all to start laughing again.

"That thought scares me a little bit." Havoc shook his head.

I was laying in bed that night trying to sleep all the while my mind wouldn't stop thinking about what Kain had said, I wonder when the first baby's gonna show up.

I shook my head at the thought, sure kids are nice and all, but I plan on having a wedding before that.

I heard knocking at my door and sat up, glancing at the clock, 8:36. What could somebody be doing over here this late?

When I answered the door I saw a very nervous Roy Mustang holding a bouquet of flowers.

"Roy, what are you doing here so late?" I raised an eyebrow at him and opened the door further. "Come in."

He looked down at my outfit. "Did I wake you? I didn't think you'd be going asleep so early."

"No, you didn't. And it's really not that early colonel."

He shook his head. "I saw these walking through town and thought you'd like them." He smiled and handed the flowers to me.

"It's nice that you were thinking of me, but I don't even own a flower vase." I smiled.

"Just put them in a cup or something until I buy you one. I'll pick you up one on my day off." He smiled back at me.

"Well, I must ask, what's the occasion?" If he tells me the condom broke or something I might kill him.

"Sorry I came unannounced but I just really felt like doing this tonight." He rubbed the back of his neck.

"What, have you been drinking? Feeling over confident?" I giggled.

"Only a little." He muttered then took a deep breath. "Will you move in with me?"

I broke into a big smile, then wrapped my arms around his neck. "Of course I will!" I kissed him tenderly and held his hands. "Do you want to start moving me in this weekend?"

"Of course, as soon as possible." He hugged me tightly. "Maybe we'll get started on that baby making." He joked.

"Buy me a ring and then we'll talk, okay?" I shook my head.

"Want me to stay over, or no?" He cocked his head to the side.

"You can if you want, but no sex tonight." I stood up and started walking to my room.

"Bummer." He followed me down the hall.

I laid back down and he undressed down to his boxers then got in bed next to me.

"Are you gonna hog the blankets all night?" He grumbled.

"Shut up, Roy." I rolled my eyes and he pulled me closer.

"Guess we'll just have to stay this close since you want to keep the blankets all for yourself."

"You don't need excuses to cuddle me, you know." I laughed.

"I don't know how I'm gonna do this for the next-" He paused for a moment. "however long you feel like putting up with me."

I chuckled and he tickled my sides making me laugh harder. "Roy!" I pushed his arms away but he over powered me. "Roy, stop it!" I rolled over on top of him and pressed my lips to his, enjoying the moment of silence. I allowed his hands to roam my body for a minute before I pulled away from him and returned to my former spot.

"Riza," He whined. "I was just getting started."

"Go to sleep."

"But I'm not tired yet." He pouted his lip and I raised my eyebrows.

"What's your point?"

He kissed my forehead and hugged me against his bare chest. "I love you." He sighed.

"I love you too," I mumbled. "but I can't sleep if I can't breathe."

He let me go and I gave him a final kiss before we both fell asleep. When we woke up, we did our usual morning routine then headed off to work.

"How's the research on Greed, going?" Roy asked as we sat down for lunch.

"We know where they all hang out but he hasn't been going to see this "Father" guy. He's been working with Fullmetal." I said, taking a sip of my coffee.

"He's working with a humonculis?" His eyes went wide.

"Yes, but Ling is able to take control, remember? I think Edward is planning something, or they have a plan and Ed's trying to get knowledge of it."

"Yes, but I don't trust Greed, not at all." He furrowed his eyebrows. "I don't know what's making him rebel but it could be a trick, he was just trying to attack us with that fatty, Gluttony just a few weeks ago."

"I understand, but maybe he could do something good with his power. Anybody could change, even one of those monsters." I stared down at my food.

"If Fullmetal is taking the time to work with him I sure as hell hope he's worth it."
