Nothing Lasts Forever

A poem.....

I still remember those nights
Where crying was the only sight,
Pain didn't seem to end
It feels like crying have become a new trend,
But now anything is not the same,
Once sad and lonely girl is now a renowned name.

She used to calm herself down saying everything will be fine
This is how even in dark she did shine
But still, whenever the flashback follows
Her soul once again becomes hollow
Her tears flow at their own pace
Remembering those old memories, Remembering those similar face

But now her life is filled with happiness
She finally did make out of this mess
Today she have all once she want
Now she do have someone who'll never let her past haunt

This poem is not written to make you cry
But to make you realize

NOTHING LASTS FOREVER

Nothing lasts forever. Neither night nor day, neither happiness nor sorrows, neither laugh nor tears, neither failure nor success, neither flaws not perfection, neither friendship nor hatred, neither YOU nor ME. The worst thing is everyone know this but still ignore this fact.
Everyone wish to live forever but no one can, this is destiny, this is the reality. I have heard that love last forever but if you argue with someone, they simply give the example of Romeo and Juliet, but did Shakespeare guaranteed that their love will last forever? By the way, does anyone even know is it a real love story or just a play? The answer is a big No. Can anyone guarantee that after say 200 years, people will still remember Romeo and Juliet? No one know it thus no one can guarantee.
Love also don't last forever. Yes, I agree it may last even after you die but this doesn't ensure it lasts forever. Memories and love lasts till the person lasts.
Honestly, sometimes I wonder even today when we know the fact nothing lasts forever we still run behind things and are selfish and greedy. What if everything last forever?
To be honest, I don't know the answer.
