Life had gone back to normal, mostly. As normal as it can be when you're stuck in a building underground, but still. Katniss and a few others had to go and fight. I think she went with Gale and Peeta and a few others I didn't know. I'm not sure what their mission was, but I think it was a PR mission. Just say a few things for the cameras, pretend to fight, then go home. Hopefully soon.

I messed up the first mission, so I wouldn't go on another one. It was so relieving. I didn't have to worry about some taking me from Han to get killed in war. Han was sick, so we were going to be together for a long, long time. Pretty much the only reason I was glad she was sick, other than that, I wanted her to get better. I didn't even  bother keeping up with the missions. If everyone needed to evacuate, Mom or Katniss would tell me. My schedule had been consistent, but better than before.

Wake up.

No training anymore. This was a relief, but I kept working out to keep it up, there was a gym for soldiers to get better.

Breakfast. It was beginning to grow on me. Like algae. I didn't want it there, but it was stuck.

Work. I do teaching, something I enjoy. I teach art, something everyone can enjoy. Unless, of course, you're a perfectionist. But even they can have fun if it turns out perfect. Today I was doing finger paint for the younger students. Younger meaning 3 to 7. Students 12 and under would go to school. 13+ would train. The older students (8 to 12) and I set up with regular paint.

"Paint an animal, use your imagination! Anything from a unicorn to a deer!" Animals were a great topic, you could use anything, and there was a lot to choose from.

I walked around the classroom and helped with technique. I saw everything from a brown blob named Blobby to a very good tiger, like freakishly realistic. Back at District 12, I would be a stay home mom with a husband maybe teaching about coal, at the most. We would be starving, and I would have to have kids.

Lunch was the generic meal, also, like algae. After, I had a new round of students. There were around 400 students. I was good with names, so it was fun.

After, more classes. More strange animals. Unlike most teachers, I had favourites, usually the ones who worked the hardest, not how good it actually turned out.

Dinner, and I went home or to Han after and we ate dinner together in the caf. She got a special table for her wheelchair. I went to sleep with her that night, just to get up and do the same thing. But I was happy, for once. I had Thursday off, when I usually just relaxed with Han, or painted, or just slept. Or grade, but as long as they did as they were asked, they would get one hundreds.
