Chapter Two - The Next Step

After bring forced from Terra Cyclonia by Ravess and Snipe, Kurogiri warps the Shadow Collective to one of All For One's old fortress outside of Terra Cyclonia. As the Shadow Collective settled into the abandoned fortress, Shigaraki was seething in rage. The humiliation he suffered at the hands of Ravess and Snipe struck a blow to Shigaraki's ego. His lust for blood and revenge became more and more visible as he began scratching himself.

Shigaraki: Ravess.....Snipe.....I want to kill them.....

Kurogiri: Ravess and Snipe will pay for their treachery.

Toga: I never liked those two. They were always total jerks! When are we gonna hit them?

Twice: I say we let them kill each other and we'll take over. NONSENSE! NOBODY KILLS RAVESS AND SNIPE BUT US! Shut up, you idiot!

Mr. Compress: I must say, I agree with half of what Twice is saying. We can't let Ravess and Snipe get away with this transgression. It would damage our reputation.

Dabi: And we can't let those idiots tear the Cyclonian Empire apart with their civil war.

Kurogiri: And with Master Cyclonis and Dark Ace gone, the power vacuum left behind threatens to destroy the Cyclonian Empire right down to the very foundations. Neither Ravess nor Snipe have the capacity to lead the Cyclonian Empire effectively.

At this point, it became clear that the civil war between Ravess and Snipe threatened to destroy the Cyclonian Empire and ultimately finish what Sky Knights started. Not only that, but the incompetent Ravess and Snipe threw a wrench into All For One's grand scheme. But a smile soon falls on Shigaraki's face. 

Shigaraki: So Ravess and Snipe really want to fight over who gets to rule the Cyclonian Empire? Good. They'll tear each other apart. While they're killing each other, we'll rebuild the strength of the Shadow Collective. With Master Cyclonis gone, we can now move forward with All For One's plans for Atmos. 

Kurogiri: All For One anticipated this possible scenario. That is why he entrusted me the location of his most loyal servants as well as potential recruits for the Shadow Collective. 

Dabi: Who do you got?

Kurogiri: First, we have Muscular, Moonfish, and Magne, members of the Murk Raiders. 

Toga: What's so special about two pirates?

Dabi: I've heard about them. They've got quite a reputation around them. Besides Captain Scabulous, Muscular, Moonfish and Magne are considered the deadliest pirates within their ranks. 

Mr. Compress: But if I remember correctly, the Murk Raiders helped the Sky Knights defeat the Cyclonian Empire. 

Twice: Traitors! WHAT MORE DO YOU EXPECT FROM PIRATES?! Still, the audacity to betray the Cyclonian Empire! 

Shigaraki: They're pirates. Money is what they answer to. If we pay them enough coin, they'll fight for our cause. 

Kurogiri: And if Captain Scabulous refuses to fall in line, then we can easily have Muscular, Moonfish and Magne organize a mutiny. But I doubt it'll be hard to get the Murk Raiders on our side.

Dabi: Assuming that they'll join. 

Kurogiri: We will worry about that when the time comes. Our next potential recruit is a young Raptor warrior named Spinner. 

Toga: I heard the Raptors are in a bad place since Repton got his scaly butt kicked! 

Toga lets out a childish laugh, but no one else laughs with the exception of Twice. 

Twice: What can you expect from a giant lizard?! THE RAPTORS ARE FIERCE WARRIORS! They're hired muscle and you know it!

Kurogiri: Young Spinner is quite the warrior. And with the loss of Repton and the subsequent downfall of the Raptors, young Spinner will be looking for a cause. 

Shigaraki: But most importantly, he'll be looking to get back at the Sky Knights. We'll use that to get him on our side. 

As Kurogiri laid out the potential recruits for the Shadow Collective, Shigaraki saw them all as potential assets to help him on his efforts to reclaim the Cyclonian Empire from Ravess and Snipe. 

Dabi: We'll still need an army. 

Kurogiri: Leave that to me. Doctor Skaal is still eager to serve All For One. He has done well to stay out of this conflict. Ravess and Snipe are too incompetent to know the importance of Doctor Skaal and his experiments. 

Shigaraki: Then it is settled. Kurogiri will make the necessary arrangements while we move to recruit our new members into the Shadow Collective. Once we bring them into the fold, Kurogiri will bring us to All For One's most loyal servants. And then....we will reclaim the Cyclonian Empire....

As Shigaraki took charge, the rest of the Shadow Collective rallied around their leader. A mad smile fell on Shigaraki's face as All For One's plan fell into place. 

Shigaraki: Well, you see....for my sake, and all of yours. You see, they're looking to hamper the mobility of the Shadow Collective and the true Cyclonian Empire. And I'm sure they'd like to win you over, seeing you all as useful to their cause. They want to pull you in from the outside and subjugate you. From the very beginning, they haven't viewed us as equals. But we'll show them. The Sky Knights and all those who stand in our way. We'll show them all what we are capable of. 

With that, Kurogiri warps to an unknown destination while Shigaraki and the rest of the Shadow Collective set out on old Cyclonian Skimmers to recruit new members for the Shadow Collective. In that moment, Tomura Shigaraki and the Shadow Collective took the next step to continue All For One's grand plan for Atmos.
