AU- Coffee Shop (Ik what a great way to start this off)

Bryce Oh's POV:

I walked in, somewhat nervous, to the cafe. It was a boring one, with not a lot of customers. Hardly anyone was ever seen there, which made it the perfect place for me to work. Not a lot of customers, not a lot of work. It's a pretty foolproof plan if I do say so myself.

The door opened with a jingle of the bells hooked on the doorknob, they were silver and made soft tings rather than harsher clunks. Having already looked at the place, turned in my resume, filled out forms etc. The job was mine. The easy going, simple, do nothing at all job.

"Welcome, how can I help you?"

I turned in the direction of the voice. And it was then I saw him. A short boy, thin, and pale. His eyes were bright, though lacked in the department of being cheery, with dark eyelashes that perfectly framed his violet eyes. In a way he looked innocent, pure, and childish.

Adorable.

I could feel the smile coming, though I quickly forced it back.

A stupidly easy job, and a pretty boy to look at. This just keeps getting better and better. He doesn't seem particularly happy to be here... I'm sure its because no one comes here, yeah that's it. He's not like me, searching for quick and simple cash, no... he's for sure here for the people who come in. That's why he's a cashier, he's a pretty little thing who wants to flirt a bit, how unlucky of him to come to this cafe.

"I'm new, just recently hired." I replied, realizing that it had been a while since he first asked me. The boy looked bored, his beige and brown apron had a clip on it, Gray, it read.

"Oh." The boy sighed, his shaggy gray bangs falling in front of his eyes, obstructing my view of them. I hated that, he seems bored, am I not good looking enough for him?

"I can show you around I guess then." He added, perhaps seeing a bit of my disgust and unhappiness.

"I'd like that." I replied, my eyes scanning over him the moment he turned.

Gray continued to explain things, where certain things went, what to use in certain instances, how to make certain drinks, all of the specifics that I should've been paying attention to. Though I couldn't, I was far too busy listening to him. Well, not listening to him, I actually didn't do much of that at all, I was rather thinking about his voice. How soft and slightly feminine it sounded. It was nice, hearing him go on and on, thinking about how he have to see me most days for hours at a time.

"You got that?" He asked, raising an eyebrow at me. He was clearly trying to decide whether or not I was listening to him, which I wasn't. But hey, he didn't have to know that.

"Of course." Was my answer, which I delivered in as smooth a tone as I could. Running my hand through my hair once.

Gray looked bored with me, which pissed me off. How could he be bored with me already. He hasn't even said one flirty thing to me and he's already done. He thinks he sooo much better than me, that he's on such a high pedestal, that he's untouchable, just because he's pretty. God, I can't stand him.

The door jingled again, the soft sounds hardly audible in the cafe. Though Gray responded immediately, eyes flooding with what seemed to be relief mixed with happiness at the sight of the newcomer. He had black hair, dark and inky, that was cut clean. His eyes gave off an aura of intimidation, like the lime green was a sign of danger, a poisonous promise not to cross him. The scar across his nose, perhaps, was all that the last person that crossed him managed to do. His existence was a silent threat.
