“Miss (y/n) you may see him now.” You looked up at the doctor and got up and headed to his room. You opened the door to hear machines beeping and to see his thin frail body laying lifeless in the bed. He looked so sick, so lifeless, and so…so…so dead! You hated the thought of ever losing him. But it was time that you came to your senses and realize that he was about to die. You pulled a chair up next to his bed sad down and just looked at the love of your life laying on his death bed. You felt tears form in your eyes! You grabbed his hand gently and intertwined his fingers with yours. You just let the tears fall. Then you heard “babe why are you crying?” in a very quiet whisper. You looked up to see niall laying there staring at you with his faded baby blue eyes. You sniffled and said “look at you ni! You’re sick! You have cancer! You’re dying! And there’s nothing I can do about it!” niall then pulled you onto the bed with him. you gently layed your head on his chest and he started to stroke the back of your head he said “shhhh princess! Everything is going to be ok!” you said “ no ni everything is not going to be ok! Your fading away and I cant do anything about it!” then niall said “ princess look at me!” you didn’t want to but you looked up and your pale,sick,dying, boyfriend. He looked at you with his faded baby blue eyes and said “ love even though I may not be here for too much longer im here now aren’t i?” you sniffled and said “ yeah that’s true” you just layed with niall. Then niall started coughing really badly. You got up and niall was turning blue. You ran out to the nurses station and said “ HELP PLEASE HE NEEDS HELP!!” a swarm of nurses came running to you. One really sweet nurse said “ which room darling?” you pointed to room 19. That’s nialls room number. They all rushed in there. You tried to go in but they wouldn’t let you. You sat in the lobby waiting for them to let you in to see niall. So you and niall could finish your conversation. You walk to nialls room to open the door when the nurses make their way out. one nurse stops and says “ im so sorry (y/n) but hes gone! His heart stopped beating and we tried to revive him but we couldn’t. im so sorry for your loss!” you took a step back and said “ NO…NO…” you broke down. The love of your life had just died of cancer and you didn’t even get to say I love you to him one last time. Then the nurses said “ here sweetie he said he wanted you to have this!” she handed you a small box and a note! She then said “ read the note first.” You then said “ im going to go see him one last time!” the nurse nodded ok. You walk in to see niall laying there peacefully. His eyes were closed and he wasn’t hooked to the machines anymore. You sat in the chair beside his bed and took his hand and intertwined his fingers with yours. His hands were so cold. You opened the note and it said :

By the time you get this ill be up in paradise with the rest of the angels. Im so sorry I left you without being able to say good bye or being able to say I love you one last time, but I have to tell you that the last 4 years I have spent with you have been absolutely amazing. You stood by me ever since I got sick 8 months ago. You were there when I got sick from my chemo. You were there for everything. And I cant thank you enough for that. Remember when I told you that I had intended on spending the rest of my life with you?” well open the box and see what I mean!
*you open the box and reveal a ring on a chain and on the ring is nialls initials*
Babe I wanted to ask you to marry me but I soon realized that I wouldn’t be here to ask you. So im giving you this so that way you can always remember me. I love you so much princess! And I will always be with you no matter what. When ever you need me just call my name and ill be right there. I will always love you

You felt tears rolling down your cheeks. You stood up and leaned down and kissed nialls cold lifeless cheek for the last time. You whispered in his ear “ forever and always niall!” then you left.

You sat up in bed with tears rolling down your cheeks. You looked around bed to see that niall wasn’t there. You got out of bed and ran down stairs. You yelled “ NIALL?!?!?! NI??!?!?!?! NIALL BABE WHERE ARE YOU????” you saw niall sprinting towards you. You darted right into nialls arms and wrapped your arms around his neck. That’s when you completely lost it. niall let go of you and said “ princess whats wrong? Why are you crying???” you sniffled and said “ niall I had the worst nightmare known to man! I dreamet that you were in the hospital dying of an aggressive cancer and I went into your room to see you when you started coughing really badly the nurses made me leave the room and when I went to go back in they told me you were gone. I didn’t get to say good bye or I love you before you left. And you left me a ring with your intials on it for me to remember you by and a note. I saw your dead lifeless body on the hospital bed and I just sat there and cried because I had lost the love of my life!” niall looked at you with sadness in his eyes then he said “ oh baby that will NEVER happen do you understand!” he pulled you into his arms and just held you. He then said “ I will never leave you EVER! I love you so much (y/n) ok!” then he cupped your face in his hands and kissed you ever so romanticly and that kiss right there was a reassurance that he was ok and that everything was fine. Then he said “ come princess lets got lay down and try to get some rest. Niall carried you to your bed room and he gently layed your down in the bed. He wrapped you in his arms , kissed you and sang you little things as you drifted off to sleep. This time you fell asleep knowing that youd wake up next to the love of your life <3
