The room gaped for a moment.
"First of all, since when is Peter Pan that creepy!" she blurted out and "second of all," she paused to stare incredulously at the screen, "Peter Pan!?" she shrieked.
"First magic, now fairy tales!?" Bonnie groaned in disbelief.
"I mean," Elena trailed off, before giving up.
"Why is that whenever I think I know what to expect, something like this happens?" Matt groaned rhetorically, as Tyler was still staring at the screen in disbelief and Jeremy was laughing hysterically, on the verge of crying from disbelief.
"Bullshit," Damon deadpanned flatly.
"Damon," Stefan opened his mouth to object, only to close it when he realized what he was objecting to.
"All stories have to come from somewhere," Elijah mused.
"Flying boys that live forever on a magic island have to come from somewhere?" Niklaus retorted, disbelieving.
"I'm with Nik, this is just rubbish, is what it is," Kol agreed.
"I don't know, it's kind of exciting not being in the know," Rebekah disagreed with a slight grin, to her brothers exasperation. Their parents looked on in confusion, Mikael having not paid attention to literary works or movies, and Esther having been dead for a thousand years.
Soon after a few minutes of incredulity, they calmed and began to watch.
114 Years Later faded into view.
The screen opened to show David crouching low, a bow drawn in his hand, as he hunted a deer.
"Wait if it's been that long, how come he hasn't aged?" Jeremy questioned.
"It's Neverland," Caroline answered with tone that implied 'duh'.
With a careful release, the arrow went flying and struck the dear straight through the heart.
"Nice shot," Niklaus admired.
David breathed out in relief, quickly grabbing the corpse and tying it to his back, walking carefully away, warily watching his surroundings. He came across a cavern, descending beneath the ground, he made his way in, and reached the end of the cave quickly before he knocked to the pattern of 'Seize the Day' on the cave wall, before walking through the now intangible wall and further into the cave.
"So wait, they have a bat-cave now?" Tyler joked, curiously
He soon came across the sounds of indistinct cheering. He stepped into a giant cavern hall, hundreds of newsies cheering as Jack drank out of a barrel. He stopped the moment he saw David and came over to the crowds disappointment, only to cheer again when David placed the deer down on one of the wooden tables in the room.
"He's drinking," Esther frowned.
"I could be lemonade or something," Mikael pointed out, weakly
"Davey, you got us dinner!" Jack cheered pulling David in for a quick kiss.
Several squeals echoed throughout the theater.
"I wouldn't have had to if someone didn't tire himself out," David retorted with a quirk of his lips.
"What's that mean?" Jeremy asked in confusion.
"Sorry," Jack smiled sheepishly back, to David's amusement.
"Any news?" Spot questioned as he made his way through the crowd surrounding them, quieting them immediately. David's face turned grim, "Pan's got a hold of a believer," he glared at nothing. Jack's face fell, twisting in anger and sadness.
