Chapter 21: Music is my medicine and so are you

Maya's pov:

Me: What am I doing here?

Joey: Oh baby girl you were really drunk last night.

I then remembered everything.

*flashback*

The music was loud , they announced us we had rooms if we wanted to stay I took a key and went in mine, I didn't bother locking the door, I needed just a minute to make the room stop spinning. I laid on my bed closing my eyes. I heard then the door open, I was slowly getting up, when someone intertwined their fingers with mine pushing me against my bed, kissing my neck. I opened my eyes to see Joey now on top of me, taking off his shirt.

Me: What the fuck Joey!

Joey: Oh come on you want it. You need it to get over the other guy.

He continued kissing me but this time I didn't pushed him away the alcohol was in my head and my thoughts were back. He kissed Lili. He likes Lili. He's over me but I'm not over him. Finally what had to happen happened.

*end of the flashback*

Me: Shit. This won't happen again. I'm sorry it was a mistake.

Joey: A beautiful mistake. No worries, I'm not mad I saw that as a one time thing kind of commitment.

I took a shower and went to have breakfast in the hall, I joined Matthew at his table.

Matthew: Hey morning Maya, how are you feeling?

Me: Ugh don't ask. And you?

Matthew: Well...I have to show you something.

He showed me videos and articles about with who he would be better with, apparently it was viral. I looked a little at the hate comment about me. Not nice not nice at all, stuff like "she's ugly", "she's a slut", "he's better with the other one"...It was causing me pain but I chose to ignore it.

Me: Great, now I have an all fan base hating me. Anyway it's not your fault, so we're good don't worry.

I saw Hailee and Austin walking to the table, when they saw me they started walking faster. Did I do anything? I hope not. I really hope not. What have I done? Did I ignored her feelings? Did I say something? I've been a bad friend. I'm sure of it. Maybe she's sick of me. Is she? All the possibilities were going through my head when Austin got me out of my thoughts but snapping is finger in front of my eyes.

Hailee: Hey...

Me: Hey...

Austin: I'm sorry. I shouldn't have yelled at you yesterday but Hailee was feeling very bad and she wanted you to have a good evening, she asked me to push you away.

Me: Okay.

Hailee: Are you...Are you mad?

Me: No of course not! Just next time tell me that you don't wanna talk.

Hailee: You would've stay.

Me: Yeah you have a point. Can you tell me what happened?

Hailee's pov:

I walked over to one of the interviewers, her name was Karen, she seemed nice she asked me a bunch of questions.

Karen: So you stopped your diet?

Austin: Excuse you?

Karen: Well it's obvious that since your last instagram pick you took a little bit of weight...

Me: No...I mean no, I did not. Who are you to say that?

Karen: I mean it's pretty obvious everyone is kinda in love with Austin so we thought he would find better.
