This little story is dedicated first and foremost to my children when they get a little older, to have little stories to tell at night, or to just build their imagination.
It is also dedicated to a little game called "Sky: Children of the light". A meaningful and beautiful game without any kind of explicit lore, left intentionally out to allow the players to construct wonderful confabulations in their minds.
This inspiration crystallised from hypothesis about the realms, followed by dreams and the need to share the ether required to fill up the gaps, providing a deeper meaning to the sacrifice performed by the inhabitants of a distant planet, as they continued their journey and grew closer to their friends.
I guess I am saying, this is my 'thank you' note to you, the team that gave me space in which to fight against depression and anxiety I experienced whilst waiting for my children.
Thank you to my friends who pushed me and inspired me to become a good write, or a better storyteller... though let's be honest, I'll be far from anybody recognisable for their talent, but thank you for fuelling my delusional illusions.
To those of you sharing your love: Thank you, you gave me the motivation to make this public.
To future readers: Thank you. The time spent reading my words and ideas will be deeply and dearly appreciated, even if you don't share a comment back.
To critics: any feedback; positive or negative, will help me to organise my thoughts and to tune my senses. It helps me to become someone better.
I hope you enjoy this little story.
