( 2 Weeks Later )
( Y/N POV ) Im at the stables brushing my horse named Cookie and today is the day of the 57th scouting expedition . We leave in 20 minutes . I'm not gonna be with Bertholdt so I can't make sure he's safe . If he gets hurt I'll kick his ass .
" Hey Y/N ! " I turn around and see Bert on his horse named Biscuit . " Hi Bert , hi Biscuit ! " I said . Bertholdt got off his horse .
" Are you nervous for the expedition ? " Bert asked me . " Of course I am Bertholdt . I could die ! Reiner could die ! You could die ! If the scouts somehow manage to capture Annie our mission would be failed and she could die to ! " I said . It's no lie , i'm definitely afraid . Anything could happen to anyone of us .
" Nothing is gonna happen . We'll all be safe N/N . " Bert said . " You don't know that . " I said . He came up and hugged me . " Just ... Be safe please . " Bert said . " I will be Bert . I trust you'll do the same ? " I said . " Don't worry I'll be fine Y/N . " He said . He then let go of me , got on Biscuit and left to go to his position .
( Bertholdt's POV )
I left her to go to my position but also to ask my best and most trusted friend a question . A favor . Reiner is in Y/N's unit .
I see Reiner feeding his horse named Dust . " Hey Reiner ! " I say . " Hey bro ! " Reiner said . " Can I ask a favor Reiner ? " I question . " Sure , what is it ? " He asks . " Whatever you do , please . Please promise me you'll ... Keep Y/N safe . "
