"All rise. All rise. Court is now in session. Judge E.A. Monahan presiding," The Baliff announced

"Are any of you boys represented by council?" Monahan questioned before continuing without waiting for an answer, "No? Good, that will move things along considerably."

"What?! No lawyer!?" Bonnie protested in disbelief.

"That's how it worked back then," Kol responded uncharacteristically grim.

"Your honor, I object," Spot announced.

"On what grounds," Monahan questioned, sternly.

"On the grounds of Brooklyn, yer honor," Spot retorted, getting the newsies behind him to crack up laughing.

The audience laughed weakly.

They were silenced by Monahan pounding his gravel and announcing, "I fine each of you five dollars, or two weeks confinement in the House of Refuge," he sentenced flatly.

"Whoa. We ain't got five bucks. We don't even got five cents," Race protested,  "Hey, yer honor, how 'bout I roll you for it. Double or nothing?" He offered, to more laughter.

"Alright, move along, move along," Monahan dismissed.

"Your honor, I'll pay the fines," Denton assured as he entered the courtroom with David and Les,  "All of them."

"Great, Denton and David are here," Bonnie slumped in relief.

"Hey, you fellas alright?" questioned David, worriedly, "Where's Jack?" he asked, not seeing him there.

"Look, we've got to meet at the restaurant," Denton interrupted, "Everybody," he clarified, "We have to talk."

"Pay the clerk, move it along," Monahan snapped, sternly, as Jack is escorted into the courtroom in handcuffs by a policemen.

"Hey fellas," Jack called out with a smirk, black eye on display.

The Mikaelson Family growled in fury at the sight.

"Hey, cowboy," Race called, "Nice shiner."

"Hey, Denton. I guess we made all the papes this time. So, how's my picture look?" Jack joked.

"None of the papers covered the rally," Denton responded sadly as he payed the fines, to Jack's horror, "Not even the sun."

"What?" the room exploded.

"That was a pretty public arrest, why would nobody cover it?" Elena asked in disbelief.

"Case of Jack Kelly. Inciting a riot. Assault. Resisting arrest," the policeman announced, as Jack was led up to the stand.

"Judge Monahan, I'll speak for this young man," Snyder simpered as he approached.

"Dick," Damon and Kol glared at the screen, Niklaus barely withholding one, and even then he wasn't entirely successful.

"You two know each other, ain't that nice," Jack scoffed.

"That's nepotism," Bonnie cried, outraged, everyone nodding in anger.

"Just move it along, Warden Snyder," Monahan urged.

"This boy's real name is Francis Sullivan," Snyder announced, Jack looked on in shock and resignation.
