Alphas are dominant, Betas are in the middle and Omegas are at the last rank. Alphas can impregnate Omegas or Betas by knotting them. Alphas go into rut every four months(which is like period?) . The rut lasts for 2-3days. Omegas and Betas go into heat (their version of the rut) every four months and it lasts for 4-5 days. Omegas, Betas and Alphas generally got presented and can find their mate when they turn 18. However, it's a little different for the Alphas who are future leader pack. They got presented as Alphas at 18 but can find their designated mate only at 20. Their designated mates are then mateless until then. They are not obligated to marry their designated mates thought. If they fall in love, they can marry each other. The tale of the mate things is only for traditional people and for those who fall in love with their designated mates eventually because believe me, there's some people who don't love their mates romantically.
