"We can stay in the two cabins over there," Kota pointed to the furthest two from the main office, "but payment is in the form of food."

"How much?" Nathan asks.

"We offered him a bag of beef jerky and a can of peanuts." North answered.

"The Forest Ranger in charge, Robert, said that the campers ran out of food here at the campsite yesterday. The others left to walk to the nearest town to get food. They were to come back after getting food. He was giving them two days before he left himself." Owen informed us.

"The cabins only have beds for four. Robert told me we could grab a mattress or two from one of the other cabins but it will cost us more food." Kota looked concerned, his eyes kept veering to me.

"I can sleep on the ground in my bed roll." I offered, worried they saw me as more of a burden than they wanted at this time.

"You won't sleep on the floor." Victor protested, then offered, "She can share my bed. Between the two of us, we are the same width as Silas. Maybe even smaller still."

Owens stern calculating expression was evident as he thought before speaking. "I am pleased to hear your offer to share a bed with someone, but since you and Gabriel are the smallest in size, aside from Miss Sorenson here, I need the two of you to bunk down together." Owen's penetrating eyes bore into mine, "That leaves you the option of sharing with Sean, Luke, Kota or myself, since we are all about the same size."

How do you pick which extremely attractive guy to sleep with? ...I mean sleep next to. Great, now that my mind has gone down that road, I am blushing furiously.

"It doesn't matter." I mumble as I stare intently at the ground.

"Pumpkin, you have to speak up, when you tell all of the others that you choose to sleep with me. They don't blame you for desiring to be so close to all the deliciousness that is me." Sean teased me. It put me at ease and I found myself smiling.

I giggled and looked up at the nine pairs of eyes waiting for me to choose. "In that case Sean, I choose....Kota." I giggled again.

"Oooo, BURN!" Luke hooted as he and Gabriel fist bumped each other. The other guys were chuckling.

"Now that Sang has decided her sleep mate, cabin 1 is Victor, Gabriel, Nathan, North and Sean. Cabin 2 is Owen, Luke, Silas, Sang and myself." Kota gave the instructions and we all proceeded toward the last two cabins.

It was just now twilight. We maybe had another thirty minutes of light left in the day. "I need to go wash my body off in the lake." Sweat, dirt, grime and of course starting my period was enough to make any girl feel less than fresh.

"We all do Trouble. You know you are ripe when you can smell yourself." Gabriel was laughing. "And I am not getting that up close and personal with Victor tonight if he reaks."

"Gabe, you know even if I was at my worst, I would still smell as fresh as a daisy compared to you." Victor countered.
