'Les Flammes Jumelles' (French)
translates to 'The Twin Flames'.

"A Twin Flame is an intense soul connection with someone thought to be a person's other half, sometimes called a 'mirror soul'. It's based on the idea that sometimes one soul gets split into two bodies.",
as quoted by the web.

Kuch khatti meethi yaadein thi
Jin mein bachpan bitaya tha
Unn yaadon ke dum par hi
Gharonda ek sajaya tha
Sach na ho sake jo
Vo khwaab unmein dekhe the
Unhi khwaabon ka ek
Chhota sa mahal banaya tha

~ Raavi

Rait ban waqt phir phisal sa gaya
Lehrein dho gayi unn kinaron ko
Jahan sapna basaya tha
Samay ke panno mein kho gaye vo pal
Jinhe tinka tinka jod kar
Haqeeqat se churaya tha

~ Shiva

--------------------------------------------------------------

Shiva
The name meaning Lord Shiva, himself.

Raavi
River, being one of the many explanations of the name.

--------------------------------------------------------------

And just like the purest of rivers always find their ancient stories intersect with the tales of Lord Shiva himself, the two having acquired a form that is always worshipped together and has blended folklores passed on from generation to generation in an inseparable way. Raavi and Shiva's tale was inseparable, their souls being inextricable. As opposite as their names are, so were they. And the opposites completed each other like nothing and no one else could. She was like the river originating from the tresses of Lord Shiva, as well as the Shakti complementing him. In any form, any timeline, any land, and any life, they were each other's.

------------------------------------------

Twin flames, they were.
Not two souls coming together, but one cleaved into two. Not beating for each other, beating WITH each other.

------------------------------------------

Aisa kyu hua, Shiva?
Sapno si zindagi aisi kyu ban gayi,
jiske baare mein kabhi
sapne mein bhi nahi socha tha?

~ Raavi

Waqt aur zindagi par
kisi ka bas nahi chalta, Raavi.
Par dil aur pyaar inke mohtaaj
na tab the, na ab hain,
aur na hi kabhi honge.

~Shiva
