Bright's POV

It all started with a swing. One fine day as vivid as it was but as clear as I remember. I was 8 years old when a sudden feeling occurred to me, it was new, it was unfamiliar but one thing for sure I was happy.

You see as a kid, children tend to be carefree, cheerful and innocent. I was experiencing a normal life until a little girl came into my life. Her family just moved infront of our neighborhood, my mom being the friendly as she is, dragged me to give some rice cakes to our new neighbor. Eventually our family became close making it as an extension to ours

Almost everyday Tu and I always play at the treehouse that her dad had built, we always play, feel the breeze of the trees, and occasionally having sleepovers. Well basically that old tree house had witnessed our childhood. We did everything together, we are classmates since kindergarten up to highschool, well basically we are each other's company through thick and thin, in sickness and in health, my crime partner, my soulmate, my everything.

Tu's POV

Bright and I were bestfriends ever since I was eight, I always define him as my brother from another mother, my spirit animal, and my soulmate, he always sees through me. We promised to be always there for each other in matter what occasion. I was there since his 9th birthday, I was there when he had experienced his first puberty lol, I was there whenever his mom and dad will go to places for work, I was
there when he first learn how to skate, I was there when he first learn how to bike, and sad but true, I was there when he first ask a girl out.

Bright's POV

As we grow up together, I had been a fond of Tu ever since that incident on a swing. From that day on I promised to myself that I will never let her get hurt and cry again.

Bright's reminisce

"Hey Tu want to go play on that swing?"

"No Bright, you know I don't like heights!"

"Don't be silly this is just a few meters above the ground once I swing you up"

"B-but"

"Come on! I promise you'll love this!"

**Little Bright and Tu proceed to the swing, Tu was sitting while Bright swing her up**

Few moments later....

"Bright? I think this is too much"

"What do you mean? The fun hasn't even started yet"

"Bright?! Stop pushing me hard! Your gonna make me fall!"

"Tu this will be fun!"

"No! it is not! This isn't funny anymore!"

** young Bright pushed harder making young Tu scream **

"Bright! I swear to God! I will go down from this swing this instant!"

"Tu! What are you doing?! Don't come down yet! Your gonna fall!"

"No! you don't listen to me I told you I hate this kind of stuff!"

**Bright still pushed hard making young Tu scream and fall to the ground**

"Oh my god Tu! Are you okay?!"

"I hate you! Why don't you listen to me!mommy!!" Tu cried out.

"I'm sorry, I thought this will be fun"

"Fun? You call this fun?, I almost die you idiot!"

"Tu I'm sorry, stop crying please, I truly am, I promise I will never hurt you again"

Bright's POV

From that day on, I sworn an oath to protect Tu from anything and my number 1 goal in life is to always make her happy, up to now everytime I remember that swing incident I always say dumb things to myself because I really hate it, I really hate to see Tu cry out loud, I guess one thing that I love during that particular moment is that when I realize that I had grew fond of her and that urge feeling to protect her at all times.

From that day on, I sworn an oath to protect Tu from anything and my number 1 goal in life is to always make her happy, up to now everytime I remember that swing incident I always say dumb things to myself because I really hate it, I really hate t...
