Giganotosaurus

Rexy was hunting. She was farther from home that she had ever been. She was lost and was looking for food and a place to stay because it was late in the day and it would be dangerous to go back home at night. She was very unlucky though. She didn't find any prey and could only smell an already dead dinosaur. It smelled like a sauropod but because of this there were probably many carnivores already there. Rexy didn't scavenge much, but she will when she has to.

When rexy got to the source of the smell, she saw that it was a large Brachiosaurus corpse. She was about to start eating when a large head blocked the moonlight. It a row of dull spikes along its neck that got larger on its back. Rexy was not a large Tyrannosaurus, but this creature was larger than even the biggest Tyrannosaurus. It roared at her and then she realized it was a type of Giganotosaurus. This type of Giganotosaurus lived in the mountains, but there wasn't a single mountain in miles. The large creature roared at her fiercely, and two more, smaller heads popped up. They were the more common species of Giganotosaurus and the large one seemed to be their alpha. He singled the two to attack and so they ran up to Rexy. One bit the end of her tail to distract her while the other ran to her other side and bit her neck. Rexy shook them off and grabbed one in her jaws. She pushed it onto the ground and bit at the Giganotosauruses neck. She damaged an artery in its neck and it died of blood loss. The other one used its claws to grip Rexys arm. It tried to bite it off, but Rexy broke free and ran away.

Rexy was very tired and injured so stopped to rest for a minute. Rexy could already see the Coelophysis waiting t get a free meal. She sat there for a moment before it started to rain. She left into the forest to find shelter. Eventually, she found a cave and rested there.

In the morning, Rexy woke up late in the morning. Her whole body ached but she knew her friends were worried. Through the day she walked home slowly. Finally, she arrived back to where the Raptors and hybrids were. They all jumped up and said so many things at the same time. They were all worried if she's okay and where she went.

Pearl had some knowledge in healing wounds so she helped Rexy with hers.
