CHAPTER 7

~Ashton POV~

I was think jealousy? Why am I feeling like this? I was walking to school and I saw Melissa and Luke hugging. I thought they hated each other? I thought wrong. I'll ask Melissa later... But would that make me look clingy? Gosh I need to stop worrying it was only a hug! Just a hug!

I shook off my thoughts and kept walking to school. I reached the doors so I could go to the library and read until the bell rings for first period.

I open the doors briefly to get in and shut them I walk to the library. When I got there I saw Melissa was already there. She was reading "The Perks Of Being a Wallflower" she was almost done. Wow she looked beautiful... Wait what? Huh... Why did I think that?

"Because it's true dumb ass your starting to like her" the voice in my head said. No I can't like her! Shit I don't wanna ruin a friendship she's my only friend.

Melissa noticed I was staring at her. Shit was I staring at her? UGH I'm loosing it. Melissa smiled at me and waved her hand for me to go to her. I started walking towards her. Why am I nervous? This is so weird...

I sat down beside her as she moved over for me to have a seat.

"Hey! How are you this fine morning?" She says happily looking at me in my eyes... I just noticed how beautiful her big brown eyes are.

"I'm g-good what about y-you?" I say nervously. I mentally slap myself for how awkward I'm being.

"I'm good! Are you sure?" She asks worried

"Yes! I'm good!" I say faking a smile to convince her

"Okay" she says and looks down at her book again

"So you almost done your book?" I ask trying to keep the conversation going

"Yeah I actually am, I can't believe that Sam is actually gonna go to collage and leave Charlie behind" she says throwing her hands up in the air making the book fall and loosing the page she was on. "Shit!" She says and grabs the book and flipping through the pages trying to find it again making me chuckle at what just happened.

"I'm glad you like it" I laugh a little "I've read it before you'll be surprised what happens or do you want me to tell you" I say raising an eyebrow

"NO DONT!! I swear Ash if you do!" She says laughing and plugging her ears "La la la la la la la la" she keeps saying with her ears still plugged. I just realized she called me ash. Ash.. I like it when she calls me it.

"OKAY OKAY!" I say laughing. She unplugs her ears and looks at me in the eyes "good" she says still looking at me in the eyes.

"Hey umm I have a question.." I trail off thinking if I should ask or not

"Yeah? What is it?" She asks still looking in my eyes

"I was walking to school and I uh saw you and Luke hugging... It's not bad just I thought you guys hated each other. I'm sorry for asking it's not my business" I say shaking my head

"Ash it's okay don't worry, there was this red old truck following me and I got scared so I rode faster on my penny board and I hit someone and it was Luke I didn't mean to it just happened, he said he was sorry about everything and he explained everything. That's all and we hugged it out that's all don't worry" she says smiling trying to calm me down

"Okay I was only wondering" I say smiling

"Okay" she says and pokes my nose lightly making me chuckle.

"Hey! Wanna hang out tonight?" She says excitedly

"Yeah sure!" I say.
