Chapter 0 - The Intro

"Sabi sa'yo Risa, malawak 'tong University!!!"

"Cecil, wala naman akong sinasabing hindi. Tss, ingay mo."

"Marky, anong problema niyan?"

I was sitting here at the gazebo, reading a book when I heard voices nearby. I looked around and saw three students walking na I assumed Froshies based on their conversation.

"Risa at Cecil enough na, nakakahiya kayo." I heard the guy student said.

"Kami pa ba? Eh ikaw nga 'tong puro picture dyan, tapos ipo-post pa sa fb!" saad nung girl na tinatawag nilang Cecil, halata sa facial expression niya na hiyang-hiya siya sa ginagawa ng kasama niya.

"Marky, nakakahiya ka na, parang first time mong makakita ng ganito!" dagdag nung Risa habang natatawa, napangiti nalang ako sa kanila.

Even though, I know that eavesdropping is not a good practice, 'di ko maiwasan na hindi gawin dahil ang lakas ng boses ni Cecil at ang lapit pa nila sa akin.

"Hey! Froshies kayo, right?" someone called them na ikinahinto ng tatlo sa pag-uusap.

"Opo." Sagot ni Cecil at ngumiti, while the other two nodded and smiled.

"By the way, I'm Elise, third year student." she said while smiling. I know her, she's the P.R.O of Student Council.

"I'm Cecil po and they are Risa and Marky." itinuro ni Cecil ang dalawa at nag-hello at ngumiti ang mga ito.

"So guys, do you know about the rules and regulations na ba?"

"We do po, including the facilities and such." sagot ni Risa

"That's great..." patango-tangong sagot ni Elise

"Then, do you know about the so-called The Representatives?"

"Umm, ano po iyon?" tanong ni Marky

"Well, The Representatives is a group of students who excel at different areas."

"Naks! Ang lakas maka-movie or novel, haha! Ang cool!" sabi ni Cecil

"Haha, hindi naman ganoon ka-cool, they're like us, binansagan lang sila. Do you guys wanna know them?"

I saw the three of them looked at each other and said yes, makikita ang curiosity sa eyes nila. Froshies have free time naman as of now, since orientations palang so walang kaso sa kanila.

"Let's sit muna doon." itinuro ni Elise ang katabing gazebo kung nasaan ako, I lowered my face at ipinangharang ang book na binabasa ko sa mukha.

"So, here at CIU, The Representatives is composed of eight students who excel at different areas and they represent our school. Like, in competitions about sports, academics, and performing arts. That's why they got the name 'The Representatives'."

"Are they still here po ba?" tanong ni Marky

"Yup, fourth year sila. Oo nga pala, meron silang sinisimbolo, if that is the appropriate term. It's Chess pieces, kalokohan lang nila at hindi naman ganun kahalaga. I just want to say it." Elise said while laughing at her last sentence.

"Who are they?" Risa asked.

"I mean specifically po." she added.

Nagbeep ang phone ni Elise at agad niya itong chineck.

"Well, dito kayo mag-aaral. You'll find about them sooner or later. Like I said earlier, they're like us, hindi naman sila VIP or anything. Sorry guys, I have a next class pa kasi." tumayo na ito at naglakad na.

"Oo nga pala!" lumingon si Elise sa kanila, hindi kasama ang buong katawan. Nagtaka naman ang tatlo at tumingin dito.

My phone is ringing. It is a call from Drey. I swiped the screen to the left.

I heard a familiar voice
"It's me, King."

"I know." I simply answered.

"Mia, where are you? Ikaw nalang ang wala."

"Sorry, I forgot the time. Haha"

"Bilisan mo Queen."

"I will."

I ended the call. Tumayo na ako at nag simulang maglakad. Narinig ko ang sinabi ni Elise at napangiti nalang ako.

"Welcome to Château International University!" she smiled and then Elise looked forward and waved her hand while walking away from the three.
