Quantum Physics

Lizzie's POV

We all took a seat in the library and started flipping through various books as Scott kept to himself, attempting to figure out all the physics involved in the quantum stuff. I kept my head down, flipping through book after book, while he paced back and forth, holding two books and pausing every two to five pages.

Sebastian: "Scott, you've worked it out yet?"

Scott: "Yeah, uh, OH, I'VE GOT!"

Y/n: "Tell us."

Scott: "There's a place called the quantum realm; the quantum realm is like its own microscopic universe. To get in there, you have to be incredibly small."

Lizzie: "So what you're trying to say is that there is another realm that we can use to get to the stones; do we have a time frame, like how long we can be in there for?"

Scott: "Well, I did a test run with Hope; I got stuck in there for three months."

Brie: "Oh, that would have been a very long three months."

Scott: "Yeah, but that's just it; it wasn't. For me, it was three minutes. The rules of the quantum realm work completely differently from the rules here. Everything in that place is unpredictable... uh, but no."

Scarlett: "Scott, what are you talking about?"

Scott: "What I'm saying is that time works differently in the quantum realm. The only problem is that right now we don't have a way to navigate it, but what if we could somehow control the chaos and navigate it?"

Y/n: "Someone's going a bit crazy in the head."

Tom: "Let him explain."

Scott: "What if there is a way that you could enter the quantum realm at a certain point in time, but then you guys exit the quantum realm at another point in time?"

Scarlett: "So basically, like the time machine we were talking about before."

Scott: "No, no, of course not, not a time machine; this is more like a... yeah, a time machine."

Y/n & Rdj: "OMG!"

Scott: "I know, it's crazy, but I think it will help you guys out with what you need."

Lizzie: "Scott, I have red magic that comes out of my hands, so nothing sounds crazy anymore."

Scott: "Who do we talk to about this?"

Y/n: "I would say Tony, but he's lost in the head."

Rdj: "HA HA, very funny."

Clint: "Tony isn't the only scientist, right?"

Chris: "I think I know who."

Lizzie: "Well, Natasha, it's your time to shine, Again."

We all agreed that not everyone needed to join us, so I headed out to meet Mark with Downey, Scott, and Scarlett. I mean, Bruce, that is so freaking confusing. We knew it would be safer to hold the others in the compound for the time being, so we left them there. I hopped into the car and sat on the driver's side as I waited for the other people to enter. Scarlett and Robert emerged from the rear, wearing sunglasses and a baseball cap. Admiring them both, Scott trailed behind. 'Probably a big fan' Robert sat in the front while Scarlett and Scott got in the back.

Rdj: "I texted Bruce; he said to meet him at the cafe across the street from the park."

Lizzie: "Oh, I know where that is."

I pulled the gear stick into gear, clicking the remote to open the compound gates so we could leave.

Scarlett: "You know what I just realised."
