Dylan's POV
I climb out of my warm bed into the cool air conditioned room. I walk slowly down the stairs careful not to fall. "Good morning Sleeping Beauty." "Dad don't call me that." "Someone''s a little grumpy." "I'm not grumpy I'm actually really happy." "Why?" "Because Alex told me some good news last night." "What good news" "I'm not allowed to say." "Okay." I poured some orange juice into my WWE cup. I drank some of the sweet orange liquid. "Eww pulp." Dani laughed at me. I grabbed my plate of pancakes and started to pig out. "Woah slow down Shrek." "Haha very funny." I put my plate in the sink and ran upstairs to my computer. I got on Skype with Alex. "Hey Dee. What's up?" "I think we should all go to the park tonight." "What time??" "Around 11:30 or 12:00." "Sounds good to me." "Okay see you then." I closed the lid of my computer and turned the tv on. The Dirt was on. "Good morning everyone today on The Dirt our subject is teenage heartthrob Austin Mahone. We spotted the singer with a mysterious blonde girl yesterday at a local pizza place." Just then a picture of me and Austin popped up on the screen. Oh God he's famous. I'm famous now. "We believe this girl is Alex Constancio's cousin but we are not sure yet. We will be back right after the break to give you more dirt on the mysterious girl." I stood up and ran into my sister's room. "Dani I'm on tv." "What?" "Come here." I led her into my room right as the show was coming back on. "We have reporters from our show on the way to the girl's house. Is this mysterious beauty Austin's new girlfriend?" "We'll find out after our moment with Kristen Stewart." "Told you." "Oh my gosh they're on their way over here." Just then someone knocked on the door. I quickly run downstairs and open the door. It's just Austin and Alex. "Are you guys okay?" "Yeah the cameras aren't here yet." Right as I said that the cameras came up to my doorstep. "Hi Austin what is this girl's name?" "Her name is Dylan." "Are you guys dating?" "No we're just getting to know each other." "Tell me Dylan do you think you have a chance with Austin?" Austin looked over at me and whispered, "You don't have to answer that." I looked at the reporter. "Yes I do." "Quite the confident one isn't she. Austin, do you like Dylan?" "As a friend right now yeah." "Thank you for your time guys." "Yeah." I slammed the door in her face. "Stay away from my house!"

"Austin you better catch me!" "I'll try it's really dark." It was 12:00 at night and I was swinging. Austin said he would catch me if I jumped so Alex bet him $10 he couldn't catch me. "Ready Austin?" "Yeah." I let go of the swing and jumped. I readied myself for impact. I opened one of my eyes to make sure I didn't blackout or something. All I saw was Austin and all of our friends. "Austin?" "Yeah?" "Can you put me down?" "Yeah." He put me down. "Thanks." "Your welcome." "Who wants to play hide and seek?" "Yeah!" "Okay Austin you're it." "Ok." I started running and I went behind a bush. Austin finished counting and found everyone else. The others went to the car while Austin was still trying to find me. I looked through the front of the bush and I heard a whisper in my ear, "I found you." I turned around. I couldn't resist anymore. I crashed my lips into his. I felt his hand go down to my hip. I put my hands in his hair. We were making out. Oh my gosh. His lips were soft and welcoming. His tongue traced around my lips asking for entrance so I parted my lips. I bit his bottom lip and he laughed through the kiss. We made out for about five minutes then Alex walked up behind Austin. "Dude get off my cousin." I looked up at Alex. "Alex I'm fine." "Just come on let's go." "Alex why are you acting like this?" "Because I don't want you to get hurt Dylan. All of this publicity and stuff it's not nice." "I know that and I'm fine with it." "Ok come on." I stood up and Austin grabbed my hand and we went home.
Austin's POV
I kissed her. I kissed Dylan. Actually she kissed me but whatever. I had liked her since the first day I met her. She was so pretty. She was also very sweet and caring. I couldn't ask for anything more.
I know Alex probably hates me right now, but his cousin is a great kisser. All of the things Alex said, they were true. If Dylan got hurt I don't know what I'd do. I know we barely know each other but she means a lot to me.
Alex walks into my room. "Man, Austin I'm sorry." "Bro it's fine." "I shouldn't have done that." "I know Alex it's cool. You were just trying to protect your cousin. I would've done the same." "You should call her. Or go over to her house her parents aren't home." "Dude." "Austin, you know I don't mean it like that." "I know man I'm just joking. I'll see ya in a little while." I stood up and walked outside.
After a few minutes I finally got the nerve to walk to Dylan's house. I knocked on the door and waited a few seconds before I heard her scream, "I'm coming!" She swung open the door. "Oh hey Austin. What's up?" "Listen, about Alex, I'm sorry." "Why are you sorry? He's the one that needs to apologize." "Yeah but I should've asked him before I did anything he is you cousin and I don't want to interfere with your relationship." "It's okay. I'm fine with him being protective, I just don't want him not to trust you. I mean you are his bestfriend." "So... you forgive me?" "Yeah. You wanna come inside?" "Sure." She stepped out of the way and I walked in. "Wow your house is bigger on the inside." "Ya when we first moved in I thought it was gonna be super small but it's huge." "Yeah. So where are your parents?" "My dad is at work and my mom is out partying. You know I think something's going on between them because they never really talk or anything. And my dad's always at 'work'." She air quoted 'work'. "What do you mean 'work'?" "I think he's having an affair. I think my mom does to because he's never at home. And you know something i've never told anyone?" "What?" "He hits me when I don't do what he says. I wouldn't clean my room so he slapped me across my cheek. I had to tell my mom that I fell off of my bed." She started crying and her mascara and eyeliner was running down her face. I pulled her close to me. "Shhhh. Dylan it's okay. But you need to tell someone." "If I do he'll do it again." "No he won't. I won't let him." "How?" "I don't know. Has he hurt you recently?" "Yah." She pulled up her shirt and I saw a big purple bruise. "Where's your sister?" "Upstairs." "Dani! Come down here!" "I'm coming." She ran down the stairs. "Hey Austin what's up?" "Did you know that your dad has been abusing your sister?" "What? Why didn't you tell me Dee?" "I didn't want him to do it again." "We have to tell someone." "We can tell Aunt Ellie." "Alex's mom?" "Yeah." "I'll call her." "No wait 'til tomorrow." "Are you sure?" "Yes." "Do you want me to stay?" "Yeah
