Kloe and her family are going on vacation tomorrow. I am beginning to see that Kloe is a horrible friend to have, though many people envy me for it. I put up with her only to have a voice in the council for Celine. Kloe is her last chance. No matter what mother says. Oh, who am I kidding. I'm just desperate. It's been seventeen years, what are the chances?! At least she isn't dead, well, I don't know that for sure. I have a feeling I would just know when she is gone. Great. Now I sound like a psycho. Guess I should head to school. The walk isn't that long. Especially if
Thalia, another friend of mine, comes too. She lives in our village, unlike Kloe who lives in the town behind us. Thalia is the kind of person you meet, and then know instantly you will be friends forever. With her golden curls and soft blue eyes, she looks like a rule follower. But you would be wrong. She is a rebel all the way. Her style proved it. Shorts that are not short enough to be, well... Short, but definitely not long, and any variety of shirts that tell her mood complete her usual outfit. That is why I was so surprised when she walked through her front door wearing dark skinny jeans and a pale aqua sweatshirt that was way too big for her."Um... You look different, what's up?" I asked cautiously.
"Well, some idiot decided to pay me a visit last night, and said that he liked my style. Guess what? That DOES NOT FLY WITH THIS GIRL! NO WAY JOSÈ!! So I changed." She replied.
A bit taken aback by this, I stuttered in my next sentence.
"Wh- who?" I managed.
"Alec Delara. That's who!" She snorted.
I looked back at her in shock. The most popular guy that has every girl falling for him EXCEPT Thalia asked, THALIA?! Ok, that's a bit out of the ordinary. Shrugging it off, we walk to school in complete silence. Thalia fuming, me utterly confused.
