Restless Nights- Prologue

Hey guys it's Sophie here, writing to you through my bestfriend/sister's wattpad. I jumped in to fix up her stories and have a little fun with her profile. This week's song title: Restless Nights by Woe, Is Me. By the way, I will be using a few other languages such as French, German, and Italian. This is a new and improved version of FOUR, and I hope you enjoy.

Unknown P.O.V

"It's dark. I can't see." She whimpers. I can feel her shake as I hug her in the cold darkness. "Shh... it's okay. We'll get home soon." I coo. She continues to whimper. I grow my wings and transform completely. "Hop on." She throws a knee over my feathered back and settles herself. "I'm scared." She whispers. "It's okay. I'm the one flying. I'll always catch you if you fall." I said. "Promise?" "Promise." She grabs hold of my feathers, and I lift off at full force. Whoooooosh. The leaves rustle as I fly by, my sister's delightful squeals echo into the night. "Quiet down. We'll get caught, and now isn't the moment." She holds in her squeals and tightens her grip on my feathers. I look down at the ground below and watch the house lights reappear, one by one. "It's getting lighter, we need to hurry." She says impatiently. "Okay, hold on tight." I shift into full speed, feeling her nails dig into my back. I can see our home straight ahead. I look down to find the tree, and sharply dive into the small forest below. I land swiftly and start walking. "Why'd you stop? I was having fun!" She smacks me. "Don't smack me or I'll make you walk alone." I glare at her. I walk to a fat tree, transform back to human and grab the hidden door knob. "We're home." I whisper. I let her in, looking out to make sure no one has seen us. I shut the door and transform again, this time a different form. "You're a little late." Another voice says. "I know. Ich muss gehen*. Can you watch her?" I ask. "Sicher weitergehen. Ich werde sie zu beobachten.*" I turn to her. "Hey kid. I'll see you later, okay?" I ruffle her hair and leave before she could tell me not to go. I step out into the fresh air and take a moment to look around. The door opens and her small voice is so low, I'm surprised I heard her. "Vous avez oublié de dire au revoir.*" She whispers. "Goodbye, I love you. I'll be back soon." With that, I run off. I climb a tree and look at the sky. I've got two hours to sunrise. People are waiting. I lift off and look for a place to settle. We have to hide within the humans and save this dying planet.

Heylo my fellow humans. What do you think about the new story?? Although, I'mwriting the story so far (me as in Sophie) I will not be taking any credit from this. That is because the original idea came from my sister. Also the asterix are for translations of the other languages I use.

German:

* Ich muss gehen. - I've got to go.

French:

* Vous avez oublié de dire au revoir. - You forgot to say bye.
