Chapter 04

(Redhead's POV)

I watched as she raced at me at full speed. As she got closer to me I noticed that her eye colour had changed from an ocean blue colour to a demonic red like my own. Once she was close enough, she swung her clenched fist at me. Naturally, I dodged it effortlessly. I could never lose to a weak human girl like this! But that didn't seem to stop her. She kept on swinging her fist at me nonstop, until it finally hit me on my cheek. Man! This girl may look weak, but she packs a punch! I stepped backwards. She then looked at me. Her crimson red eyes now locked on mine. Her expression looked that of a wild animal. Was this really the girl I talked to just a moment ago? 

Suddenly she charged towards me. I sensed that she had the intent to kill, and instinctively punched her in the stomach as she reached me. She fell onto the ground and coughed up some blood. She looked like she was in a lot of pain, but she somehow managed to look up at me and give me a death glare. She glared at me for a while before suddenly, her eye colour changed back to an ocean blue colour. Her eyes widened, a look of surprise and confusion crossed her face. Then she looked up at me. She blankly stared at me for a few moments before her eyes suddenly widened and she abruptly backed away from me.

(Haruka's POV)

I looked around my surroundings. Everywhere was a black void. An endless pit of darkness. I noticed that I was hovering and not going anywhere. It was all still and quiet. Where am I?!

Just then, I saw a figure standing-or rather hovering-in front of me. The figure then started to move towards me. The closer the figure got, I could make out that it was a girl. As she got closer, I noticed that she looked awfully familiar. That messy short hair, those blue pyjamas just like what was wearing...... she looked an awful lot like...... me. Everything except that her eye colour wasn't an ocean blue like mine, but a crimson red like that of a demon. She stopped halfway and looked at me deviously.
"W-who are you?" I asked hastily.

"Why, I'm you of course, Haruka Asano-san" she said in a dark tone.

"M-me...? W-what do you mean?" I asked confused.

"*chuckle* you'll find out soon ... Haru-chan~" she said sarcastically.

She then disappeared from the spot. Then suddenly a bright light filled the void. I held my hand over my eyes for the light was too blinding. When my eyes opened again and adjusted to the light, I noticed that I was back in my room. It was still messed up and I noticed someone standing in front of me. I looked to see that redhead from before. I stared at him blankly, not knowing what to do. A moment later, I came back to my senses and remembered everything that happened a while ago. This redhead, he...killed....Chester and Timmy!

Suddenly, a feeling of fear crept upon me and I quickly backed away from him until I hit a dead end on the wall behind me. I panicked and then looked at him again. He had a look of curiosity on his face. He then smiled and walked towards me. As he got closer I shut my eyes tight expecting the worse. I kept them shut, until I felt his hand on my head. I slowly opened my eyes to see what he was doing. As I looked up, the redhead was right in front of me, but with a rather bashful look on his face. I looked at him in surprise. Just then, the other guy who was with him came forward.

"You're Haruka Asano I presume?" He questioned.

"Y-yeah, what about me?"

"You've been summoned to the demon realm by the demon lord himself. You are supposed to accompany Akato-sama and myself to meet him right now" he said with a straight face.

"Akato-sama? Demon realm? W-what? I don't get any of this!" I said panicked.

The guy came forward.

"I'm Ryuu Nakamura, the vice president of the DPJ force. This here is Akato-sama, the president of this force. We were asked to come here and escort you to the demon realm"

"What's the DPJ force?" I asked out of curiosity.

"It stands for Demons Punish for Justice"

"Woah...! Whoever came up with that name is definitely not right in the head!" I thought to myself with a sweat drop.

"So, will you accompany us, Haruka-sama?"

"Woah woah! Hold your horses! I ain't going anywhere with you shady people!"

"'Shady.....'" Akato said offended. 

He then looked at Ryuu.

"See! I told you! We should just find it ourselves and get out of here! We don't need this stupid shorty getting in our way!"

The words "stupid" and "shorty" got on my nerves.

"Hey! Don't call me that!" I shouted at him.

"Huh? You got a problem with that, sho~rty! Hehe" he said sarcastically.

"What did you say you sorry excuse for a redhead?!"

"Huh?! What did you call me you stupid short **s?!"

"Grrrr now you've done it!"

"Hehe, *#-**#!!-#^**"

"**^#$**^/**!!" 

Suddenly we both got a big hit on the head by Ryuu.

"I would appreciate it if you two would stop messing around and take this seriously" he said in frustration.

"He started it!"
"She started it!" We both said simultaneously.

Ryuu just gave us one death glare and we became as quiet as mice. I really don't think he's the type to mess around with.

Just then I remembered my two cats. I quickly turned my head towards that pile of rubble where they had been thrown off to by that beam. As my eyes roamed in search of them, they got placed upon a set of black ears popping out from behind a big brick. Slowly, it came up and revealed to be Timmy. Following him was Chester. They were both worn out and hurt, but ... they were alive! I was so happy about that fact! I dashed towards them and hugged them tightly.

"Oh my gosh you two! You had me worried sick!" I said while shedding a few tears of joy.

The two of them looked just as happy to see me and hugged me back in their own way. I then remembered Akato and Ryuu and turned my attention back to them. They were staring at me, as if they were waiting for something.

"So, your reply Haruka-sama?" Asked Ryuu.

"Hell no! I ain't coming with you guys! You think I can just trust two strange guys I just met?! And more importantly, you hurt Chester and Timmy, I can't forgive you for that"

"Man you're so annoying! Just come with us already! And what's with the 'strange people'?" Said Akato in an annoyed tone.

"Hmp! No way!" I said sticking my tongue out at them.

"Why you little.....!" Akato had reached his limit. He swiftly came towards me and lifted me up and carried me on his shoulder like a sack.

"Hey! Put me down! Pervert!" I screamed.

"Shaddup!" He said as he carried me, and my two cats who were desperately clinging onto me, towards a portal which I saw Ryuu-san open. He jumped into it, along with me and my cats followed by Ryuu-san, and we all headed towards this so called "demon realm"
