She's quiet after she tells you what to do, too awkward to say anything before leaving.

"Red Monkey and Gold Pig are fine, but Black Mantis is a different story." Moyong Baek explains, his gentle expression laced with worry. 

"Her health has severely declined, and her body barely has any nutrition it needs to survive. She basically a walking zombie—barely alive, barely dead."

Yi Zaha nods, "And her inner qi?"

"It's rather odd as well, it seems like she's about to go into a state of qi reflux and a state of qi overload at the same time. It's too unstable to tell."

It was the first time he's ever had to examine a patient like you, internal energy so unstable it's constantly reshaping on it's own, as if it didn't belong in your body. Incompatible.

For the past two days, Yi Zaha has been cultivating in the same room you've been treated and fed in.

"How do you feel?" They both ask, staring at you straight in the eyes.  It's uncomfortable how much they pester you, how they continue to ask how you felt the past two days. 

Doctor Baek would take you on walks to enjoy the feeling of the warm sun while the wind cools you down whenever it's too hot.

And Yi Zaha would feed you meals during his breaks in the middle of cultivating after absorbing the hundred year old white flame herb. 

And fortunately for you, today is the day you leave the clinic.

Your wounds have healed fully and you're halfway there to regaining normal health, so you were finally discharged after being given strict orders to have three balanced meals a day.

"Doctor moyong, thank you for the treatment."

You bow in gratitude while Yi Zaha stays standing behind you, with his hands behind his back as usual.

"It's no problem at all, please take care of your health from now on."

Nodding, you give him a small smile you practiced before riding the carriage and settling yourself down across red monkey. You look out from the small window of the carriage, eyeing Yi Zaha and Moyong Baek as they speak to one another.
