Monsters Inc One Shots (The Majority of it Being Randall)

Human Reader x Yandere Randall pt. 3

You're up the next morning and you're getting dressed. In the bathroom this time. You saw Randall wake up in sort of a negative mood and you asked what was wrong. He just responded with, "Nothing." 

You get your clothes of the day on and you walk out of the bathroom. You get into your room and you see Randall standing there, facing the window. You say, "Randall. What's wrong. I thought you were happy to be free." 

He says, "That's not it, (Y/N)." You say, "Do you miss your world?" He says, "Sort of... But that's also not why. I... Just don't worry about it, okay?" You say, "Randall..." He says, "Enjoy your date." You say, "What?" 

Then you realize he wasn't asleep and saw and heard what had happened. You say, "Randall. It's just a date. Nothing more. Jesse's an old friend from high school... Why are you worried about that?" He says, "Not a lot of dates go very well. Mike's sure didn't with his girlfriend, Celia. She was so pissed at him." 

You say, "Randall. Not all dates are bad. Jesse was my friend. Look. Just stay put while I'm out this afternoon. Jesse's coming to get me in twenty minutes. If anyone comes in here, you can always camouflage yourself." He says, "You mention me hiding myself at a time like this?" 

You sigh and you say, "Randall. It's gonna be alright. I promise you." You walk out of your room. Randall looks out and says, "I'm following them... and I'm going to face this Jesse guy, myself. If I can't have you (Y/N)... nobody can." He grits his teeth.

(Time skip.)

It's 2pm. You're on your date with a guy with black hair, a Slipknot shirt, dark blue jeans, etc. It's your old friend from high school, Jesse Hemingway. He was friends with you and Elaine. Still is. He liked you for a while and he decided to ask you out on this date. You accepted. 

But then again, you also didn't want to tell him that you're harboring a reptile monster in your apartment. You didn't want anyone finding out about Randall Boggs. You found out his last name because he told you last night as you left the zoo. You're also completely unaware that a certain lizard monster is there right now in camouflage form and on the wall as he watches you and Jesse. At least nobody can see him.

You say, "Wow. This was nice of you, Jesse. Taking me out on this date." He says, "Yeah. I figured why not. You and I have been friends for a long time and I know you know I'm a guy you can trust." Randall growls and whispers, "Not in my eyes, asshole." 

You say, "I want to thank you for this, Jesse." He says, "Yeah. I gotta say. You seem a lot different from the last time I saw you. Different from high school. I thought you'd reject me after I asked." You say, "Why would I do that? Jesse, you and I have been friends for years. Of course I'd say yes to this." 

Randall grins and says, "Maybe because you're too pretty for him, babe." Jesse suddenly feels a touch on his shoulders and he looks over to see nothing. You say, "Jesse. Are you alright?" He says, "Y-yeah. I just... felt something touch my shoulder." You say, "Maybe a small strain in your shoulder?" He says, "Y-yeah. Probably. So anyways, how are things?" You say, "Good. Really good." 

He says, "Hear about that new exhibit at the zoo? That giant purple lizard who can speak?" You say, "Um. Yeah. I've heard of him." He says, "Someone told me YOU were able to communicate with him, the other day." You say, "Yeah. He spoke to me. Said his name is Randall." He says, "That thing has a name? Must be some sideshow then if he can speak." 

You say, "Jesse. Be nice, will you? Besides, he's not even human." Randall grins and says, "She's defending me. Nice. Taking care of Jesse there may be easier than I thought." He crawls closer, still camouflaged. 

Jesse says, "Hey, wait here. I'll be right back." You say, "Okay, Jesse." Randall watches as Jesse gets up and walks off. Randall follows him down the hallway, still unseen. He sees Jesse going into the restroom and he slips his way in there.
