"Girl I feel over dressed as hell" I complained to my new friend Brianna as we pulled up to the courts.
Bri cut her eyes at me "Bitch you look cute as hell plus we aint going to be here long, my boyfriend just asked me to drop a blunt off" she told me while getting out of her car.
I crossed my arms over my chest, still feeling a bit self conscious in my bright pink dress. All the other girls were dressed super chill as that sat in the bleachers and watched one of the multiple games that were going on.
Initially we were supposed to just be going out to lunch but on the way she got a phone call that redirected us here.
"Babe come on, I got shit to do" she yelled through the fence at a guy who I recognized as my cousins friend Von nodded and called times out on the game.
"I didn't know that you knew Von" I told her as I sat on the bench being sure to cross my legs tightly so that no one could see up my dress, before she could respond Von approached us and pulled Bri into the tightest hug.

Sure it had been my plan to stay inside my grandmas house the entire summer but I didn't need him to bring it up.
