People say that you never know what you have until you lose it. The Truth is you know exactly what you had; you never thought you'd lose it. susen never thought that an accident would change everything in her life.
She wiped the tears off her face with Her arm and looked up at Kadir's grave, letting out a strangled sob."𝐈 𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐢𝐭'𝐬 𝐤𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬, 𝐡𝐮𝐡?"susen forced out a weak laugh.
"𝐈𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐝, 𝐈 𝐟𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫. 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜, 𝐢𝐬𝐧'𝐭 𝐢𝐭 ?. 𝐈 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬, 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐈?-- " as she was speaking, her phone started to ring. She answered it with a weak smile on her face.
" 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠."susen said
" 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐨𝐨. 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 ?" omer answered with a bright smile.
"𝐈 𝐚𝐦... 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭. 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠.𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 ?" susen asked a little worried
"𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞 ?" omer asked with hesitation
"𝐍𝐨, 𝐈 𝐰𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐮𝐲 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬." susen lied. She hated it whenever she had to lie to him.
" 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐚 𝐠𝐨 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲...." omer said
"𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 ?? " susen asked in shock "𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐨 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 ??".
"𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐯𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 ....." omer stopped talking.
Susen smiled, knowing what he wanted to say. He still can't bring himself to say those words.
"𝐚𝐧𝐝 ?" susen wanted to tease him a little bit.
" 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐈 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧. "omer said. A little bit annoyed.
"𝐨𝐤, 𝐈'𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩.𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐰 " susen said
"𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐡, 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐛𝐞 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭. 𝐒𝐞𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫." omer said .susen hung up the phone with a smile on her face. But then reality hit her again. when she looked around she sighed heavily.
**** Scene 2 ****
The couple was sitting together in silence as they watched the sun streak the sky in a variety of oranges, pinks, and purples; it truly was a breathtaking sight. There was only a slight breeze coming from the direction of the water in front of them, it was a pleasantly warm evening, the sand was as soft as baby powder, and the waves crashing upon the shore were gentle. All in all, it was a perfect, peaceful evening in paradise. Until omer broke the silence.
