It was 4:00am and Herb woke up, he fixed himself up to get ready for the day and then he looked at sparkling who was still asleep. "I'm guessing he came home late from his bar again. Sleepyhead always over working himself.." Herb said. He went out of the room then closed the door. He then went to go check on his son and daughter. Herb slowly opened sunflower cookie's door, "Sunny? Rise and shine little sprout." Herb said waking his son up with a smile, "Papa?." Sunflower looked at the clock and said while being annoyed, "Papa it's f**king 4:35am why are you waking me up-" "You've got to start and enjoy the day while it's still early!" Herb said, "That's easy for you to say. And anyways I don't have school! Please let me sleep in!" Sunflower said basically begging herb, "Well alright just make sure not to wake too late! You said you were gonna help me with the garden and help your sister with her room" Herb said happily before leaving his son's room. Herb went down the hall to go to his daughter's room, he then opened the door and said, "Good morning my little sunshine! Did you sleep well last night?" Herb asked his daughter shining cookie who just woke up. "Mhm! I even had a dream where I was a knight and was protecting my best friend custard cookie the third!" Shining said happily. "Well that's great shiny! Now go get ready while I cook breakfast okay?" "Okay dada!" Shining said before getting out of her bed to fix herself. Herb went to the kitchen to cook some noodles for breakfast, "Okay Sunny likes spicy and Shining doesn't, guess I'll have to make two separate noodles for them." Herb said, just then Sparkling was awake and directly went to herb, "Good morning my love.." sparkling said hugging herb "Hun.. Please let go I have to cook our food-" before herb could finish his sentence sparkling kissed him. And so their day started.
