Ever since Steve went to that Hydra mission he hasn't come back, it made you sick to your stomach knowing that your boyfriend wasn't next to you.

You wouldn't dare to eat, because it reminded you of his cooking, even not taking a shower while everyone in the avengers tower was basically forcing you to eat and to shower even though you wish they wouldn't.

All you really wanted to do was look up at the ceiling at sulk and cry because you missed your Steve so much.

"Y/N, Tony needs you in the brief room."

Natasha your best friend softly knocked on your door.

"Go away, Nat."

You mumbled.

"Ms. Y/LN Mr. Stark wanted me to tell you to get your ass in the room."

Friday said while you groaned.

Sometimes Tony can be an ass whenever you were sad and didn't want to do anything.

"What Tony?"

You snapped at him.

"Well isn't it lovely to see you too."

Tony said while you flipped him off at annoyance.

Bucky started chuckling cause you got his humor whenever you were giving people the cold shoulder.

"Flattered, really. But you have a mission and your going to do it either you like it or not."

Tony said while you huffed at him.

"What's the mission about?"

You asked calmly.

"Oh she's going to be nice this time, shocking."

Tony said while you just rolled your eyes at him.

"The mission is going to defeat some hydra agents, I heard their are rumors of them having so one with super soldier strength."

Tony said while you looked at Bucky.

"Stark, did you say super soldier strength?"

Bucky said while having the nightmares go through him when he was a criminal. They still haunt him to this day.

"Yes, I did. I know Hydra experiments on people, but this time they barely had to do the experiment."

Everyone was silent when Tony said that.

"I'll go suit up but I'm taking a shower first."

You said while looking at the others.

After your shower and got all suited up

When you were walking in the hallway a shield came in your area.

"What the hell?"

You muttered while grabbing the shield that was in the wall, you were surprised that you didn't here Friday alerting you, but what shocked you even more that the shield looked exactly like Steve's but it had a Hydra symbol on it.

No.

It couldn't be.

All of your thoughts started swarming around you.

Steve got kidnapped by Hydra.

When you weren't looking Steve charged at you.

"Steve. Please, stop."

You were whimpering while trying to defeat him.

"It's not Steve anymore, it's Captain Hydra."

Steve then had a gun where he placed it on your forehead.

You gasped and looked him by mouthing please don't do this.

And he couldn't because all his memories started coming back.

He dropped the gun, and looked at you.

"Y/N, I'm so sorry."

He said while crying with you.

You guys hugged for a while.

"Steve it's alright I'm alright."

You said while stroking his hair.

"Shh, it's okay Steve."

You said while trying your best to calm him down while all he could do is to drown in his sobs.

Then you realized Steve's going to be traumatized for a while like Bucky is.

But your going to be there for Steve no matter what.

Cause your going to be with him til death does you two apart.

It took some time for Steve to finally get better.

He finally did, he still doesn't forgive himself for almost killing you when you told him you were alright.

What still shocks you that the rest of the avengers weren't at the compound whenever Steve attacked you.

But it doesn't matter, Steve's home and that's all that matters to you.

Him being safe with you, like always.
