Tw: multiple mentions of drugs (lean is a drug btw) licoricecookie1 awoke abruptly to the sound of a knock on his door. They walked out of bed in their spiderman onezie, grabbed a glass of hot, 3 day old apple juice, and opened the door.
"Licoricecookie1, I know its really late, but can I please come in?"
"Leanlover27! Uh, now is not the best time, but sure."
Licoricecookie1 was a slight bit ashamed of the state of their abode, but leanlover27 didn't seem to mind.
leanlover27 sat themselves down on the slightly crunchy couch, and motioned for licoricecookie1 to sit down with them.
licoricecookie1 sat down, and stared at leanlover27.
leanlover27 broke the silence between the two.
"We need to talk, like, now."
licoricecookie1 only nodded, not really knowing what to say. He was half asleep, with a slight bit of dry drool on his succulent lips and crust on his eyes.
"I really like you, licoricecookie1, and I wanted to know if you felt the same way."
licoricecookie1's heart stopped.
He felt salty tears swell up in his eyes. He stared down and gripped his knees in pure shame. He watched as the tears dripped onto spidermans face.
"I'm sorry, leanlover27. I'm in love with another."
leanlover27 got up from their seat, and without a word, walked off. They stopped at the door.
"I should have known."
The door slammed, which caused licoricecookie1 to flinch. The sudden movement made more tears pool onto their spiderman onzie. He got up, stumbled to the bathroom, and grabbed some cough syrup out of the medicine cabinet.
They never wanted things between leanlover27 and him to become like this. He never wanted to lead leanlover27 on like that. Licoricecookie1 turned on the cold water, placed the cough syrup down, and washed their face with cold water, to try and ease their mind, but it didn't help. They walked to the kitchen and poured themselves a glass of sprite and added the cough syrup. He didnt even bother to add the jolly ranchers, licoricecookie1 just wanted to ease the pain. They downed the entire glass, and felt themselves float away.
