Kyoto jujutsu high| dormitory 2007
Many people assume that Satoru Gojo is a happy-go-lucky person, someone who's carefree and doesn't need to worry about anything. But of course. It's all wrong. For months Gojo had been numbing his pain due to Geto leaving. He had no control over geto even though he had every right to, he let Suguru go. He was meant to kill Geto on sight but failed to do what he was told. But that wasnt what Gojo had on his mind. He was thinking about Geto.
He wanted to know how Suguru was doing, how he was sleeping, if he was okay and if he would come back. Everyday Gojo would do his normal routine and try to seem "okay". It worked but only a little bit. Some people could see the eyebags behind the frames of his sunglasses and everyday he looked like a ghost.
The only reason Gojo stuck to waking up and doing his morning routine was to have small hope Geto would be outside waiting for Gojo to open the door and become friends again. Gojo knew that would never happen. But hope is always a nice feeling isnt it?
Everything went by so fast due to the events that happened, He still hasnt processed everything fully. It's all a blur.
He just misses his best friend. His one and only.
Satoru stared at the ceiling to his room before taking a deep breath. He didnt want to do anything today. He wanted to stay in bed and watch K-dramas and reality TV shows.
He slowly pushed himself to sit upright so he could get up. The silence of the room was miserable. Usually he would already be up and about, thinking about how he will annoy Suguru to get out of his dorm. They would catch shoko and proceed to class.
Gojo finally stood up and stretched feeling the sounds of small cracks in his back. He went to his bathroom to start the daily ritual of hoping. Having a small string of hope to wake up to everyday to see one person.
He brushed his teeth, splashed cold water on his face and wiped with a dry towel. He didn't bother looking at the mirror. After what Geto had said to Gojo before he left Geto the next night went into a panic attack and had to stay at home for a week. After that Gojo decided not to think about why that happened. He felt that it would be better to not overthink what Geto had said since he wasn't able to ask any questions on what he said. Or he didn't want to go through a panic attack again.
He then walked back into his room and slowly took off the clothes he slept in, then put on his normal jujutsu uniform with the classic sunglasses he would always wear. He reached towards the door to open it, But he couldn't. His hand wouldn't budge. He backed away and plopped back onto his bed with his hands covering his face under the shades.
He wanted to go back to sleep, and think about nothing. He started to lay down until he heard a knock.
He perked up and quickly stood up to open the door, crossing his fingers that geto would be there.
Gojo knew that Geto would not be behind the door.
He opened the door expecting his best friend only to be greeted to Shoko. He bit back a cry of pain.
"Hey Gojo- I came to pick you up for a mission." Shoko was in her normal apparel, the jujutsu uniform for female students and her normal bob hairstyle. She had her hand in her pocket waiting for gojo to say something.
Gojo took a deep breath realizing he had been staring, he tried to speak to say "sorry" but it seemed like his voice was gone. It was like a knot in his throat preventing him to speak. He swallowed empty air and tried again.
"S-rry." He held his breath, he felt like if he tried to speak more he would break down in front of shoko. He didnt want that so he just nodded and stared at the wall behind her.
Shoko chuckled slightly and slightly smiled, "Let's go." She quickly turned and started walking towards the nearest exit from the dorms. Gojo followed.
As they were walking he stared at his shoes as he walked behind shoko. He was counting his steps until 2 then 3, then 19 and one 90 to keep his mind occupied. He was focused on his steps until Shoko made an abrupt turn through the hallway. He looked up confused as she kept walking. The wrong way. He cleared his throat and spoke
"What are you doing?"
Usually when they have missions they would go to their classroom to receive information from Masamichi which would be the opposite way of where shoko was walking. She stopped and looked back and nodded her head forward gesturing for gojo to follow her. Gojo sighed, he didnt want to deal with anything or ask any questions so he just followed.
Shoko wasnt really the type to be "nice", she was usually a chill person who would sometimes joke around. But due to Geto leaving she had started smoking, again. Deep down she misses Geto and the old Gojo. Even after so much time she still doesnt know how Gojo feels truly, she assumed that he was frustrated with what happened and that it would take a long time to get over it. Even to herself she would laugh off the melancholy feeling of how she felt about Geto leaving. Right now this is the first time she's able to actually talk to Gojo after his week long break. She needed to talk to Gojo.
She stopped walking as soon as they approached the exit to outside and stared at gojo as he turned around slightly confused.
She sighed, "Gojo." Truthfully she didnt know what she was going to ask of Gojo. "How have you been?" Gojo looked down and started counting, 2 then, 3 then, 19, and one 90. He didnt want to answer that question at all. A few long seconds went by and shoko stepped forward a little closer to gojo, "How are you?" She asked again staring at his eyes through the sunglasses.
Gojo backed away and looked at Shoko, He didnt want to talk about how he was feeling. He just wanted to get the mission finished. "Shoko, don't we have a mission to finis-"
"It can wait. We have enough time." Shoko was much closer to gojo now but not enough where she could touch him.
Gojo started to get a little frustrated it was hard enough to talk already. But so much has changed he didn't know if he wanted to keep how he was feeling to himself or let it all out to shoko and let her know how shitty he was feeling.
He was tired of thinking about feelings. He shook his head and started walk back to the dormitory, but shoko had stepped back in front of him.
"Shoko."
She glared at him "Gojo. I need to know." She took a deep breath and relaxed her face. "You havent said anything to me ever since that break you took. You didn't even tell me what happened, I had to ask the teacher about what had happened." Gojo started to count again. "Why the hell have you been keeping things from me? I'm hurting too but you dont need to hurt alone." Shoko glared at him again clearly starting to get mad. "GOJO!!" She raised her hand to hit him but was stopped due to the infinity cursed technique. At this point Shoko had enough. She started to walk. "Shoko." she stopped. "I'm sorry." He took a deep breath to keep his composure, "I know that I shouldn't be keeping things away from you." He lost count of his numbers. "If you want to talk we can." Shoko turned around and smiled to gojo
"I'm sure that would be nice."
