"Eh?" What is with this guy, first I catch him constantly staring at me and now he be asking for soap out of nowhere.

He removed his clothes after yanking a lone bar on the window to the side. Shiraishi shivered in the cold as he looked at me expectantly, however, I shook my head at this, "Um no. What part of  I was literally forced to come out here, did you not understand?" His face dropped until Asirpa removed a small animal skin sack. "I have some bear fat, will that help?" Sure enough, the man covered himself in the smelly oil and then dislocated his joints to squeeze between the window bars. I looked up in amazement and slight disgust because I have experience reconnecting dislocated bones. To see someone do it at will was kind of interesting.

With that, both Asirpa and I ran to the stables to spook some horses to draw attention away from the others. Retar met our side once the steeds were loud enough we heard several men start to leave the building but we were long gone as we climbed up to the rooftops. I felt my stomach swell with anxiety, this really was the 7th, and freaking Asirpa led us right to the hornet's nest. After nimbly hopping from another building, I noticed something bolting from the headquarters down the street next to us. When it got closer I saw that it was a sled that a single horse pulled, three figures came into view. "Hey look!" I called out to Asirpa who was ahead of me but once I did I lost my footing and slipped. "Kinjo!" I heard my name be called and felt the cold air fly around me. A strangled yelp pushed past my lips as I awaited to collide with the ground, instead my back met wood? Immediately my shoulders screamed out in pain as I shakily lifted my head and clasped my hand onto my brown hat that surprisingly stayed on.

"You?!" My eyes met amber making my heart stop, "Uh-" The sled jolted lunging me forward nearly dropping my rifle but I held on tight. "Believe me this was not how I planned to spend my day!" A gunshot blew past us narrowly missing our horse, Sugimoto directed his attention back to the road ahead. Just then the whinny of another horse came from behind us and when I turned my blood ran cold. No way... Not him.

The pursuer pointed his gun at us ready to fire but before he did I caught his gaze, the world slowed and I felt my breath still. A wicked smile formed on his lips making me sick to my stomach. Then out of nowhere, his horse fell leaving him to jump from his saddle and continue to chase us on foot. "COME ON HURRY!!" Sugimoto begged the steed once he looked behind us, but thankfully the general stopped and raised his gun in the air. For some reason, I could not tear my eyes from him, almost like I was trapped. That damn smile was back on his features making me uneasy. Damn it, and I was so careful this time

General Tsurumi chuckled as he watched the two disappear into the night. "It seems that we won't need to find the best doctor there is around. Until next time immortal," he looked back at where they had escaped, " and Miracle Doctor."

I sighed once we finally made out of town, my breath seemed to return after that ill-fated reunion. We sat in silence letting the cold air surround us, it was awkward because I literally threatened the guy yesterday and now here I was saving him. Though technically it was Asirpa she wasn't here at the moment so yeah awkward...

"There she is, up there." I heard Sugimoto utter breaking the silence, looking ahead there she and Retar stood at the top of the hill. When he slowed the sleid we both got off, I went to stand next to Asirpa completely exhausted. I looked the soldier up and down to see that he looked like shit and yet there he stood seemingly unharmed, he had to be the immortal Sugimoto alright. The teen was quiet when he came to her and spoke, "I'm so sorry. When I left it was due to pride, now you've saved me, I'm ashamed." Before I could even register his words, Asirpa went straight to him and socked him. I winched a little at this because he literally had sticks poking out of his face but oh well. He howled in pain and fell to the ground, I yawned out tired with all this and overall I just wanted to go home. But then guess who decides to show up? Shiraishi came decked out in full army uniform, I suppose that's how he got away. "Hey guys." When he approached us he saw that the horse we escaped with was still there. "We should get rid of this horse, it sticks out like a sore thumb." Thinking about it his words rang true, "We could let it go back to the town." I suggested but Sugimoto held the horse's face and hugged it, "We can't just leave it here and look at this guy he likes me." Rolling my eyes I could see Shirish frown, "No, we have to get rid of it."
